Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

Ok, I just got word from Mousermom09. She has the stroller and installing the new seat right now. Plus putting the new tape on the handle bar.

The canopy...there is nothing wrong with the canvas at all. The only thing that is wrong is the small plastic window on top and it isn't visible due to the flap that covers the window. The only time you even know that there is something wrong with the canopy is when you flip the flap to look at your children. Honestly, does anyone really use the window? Anyway the window is torn at the seam in an "L" shape and she is going to try to sew it back in place.

There is an extra basket with the stroller (thank you pirateandprincess again) so she has put it on because the other basket was extremely dirty. She will leave the old basket with the accessories incase it is needed at a later date due to damage.

OK, she had problems getting the stroller from LS. It seems they wouldn't give the outgoing swapper a claim ticket and when mousermom09 got there, they were having a hard time finding the stroller. She really had to describe the stroller to them before they brought out the RIGHT stroller. Her name had fallen off between her and the previous swapper. SO please if LS says there isn't a stroller there in your name....make sure you know everything about the stroller so you can describe it.

I've read on the threads that SS (where mousermom09 needs to take the stroller for the next swapper) is giving swappers a hard time about accepting the strollers. This swap has a 10 day gap.......so I'm concerned about this right now.

So if you are going to WDW between 7/10 and 7/20 please consider stroller sitting for the swap. I can call mousermom09 and give her your information.

I just realized going through the calendars...we don't have anyone--not one swapper in 5 swaps who is going to WDW from July 13-18. Every one of the strollers will be sitting at least 7 days in Luggage Services. OMG!!! OK...everyone pixie dust the crap out of the swap. This is going to be a first and hopefully a positive first for the swap---I can see me getting 5 different calls from 5 different swappers at 5 different resorts saying the stroller isn't there.

I am really worried about the 10 day gap between mousermom & me! I think there's a very large gap between me and the next swapper as well!

If mousermom would like to leave the stroller at the home resort or Pop that would be okay with me, if you think things would go more smoothly that way.

Put me down for the 10-20th for Stroller #2. I will drop it off at Saratoga on the 18th in the evening as I will be leaving the 19th for the beach. I have stayed at Saratoga before and I know they don't like to keep them long. I will put the next swappers name on it and send them the number for it.

Glad Mousermom09 was able to pick up the stroller. When I picked up mine they brought out every stroller under the sun and I think only one of those strollers was even tagged. Please swappers know what the stroller looks like cause it will help out alot! Bascially anyone can go and claim an item is theirs without any claim ticket. That is not right and I hope no one abuses that. By the way, as far as the stroller #1 one of the tires looked a little wonky. I can't remember which side it was but my hubby hoped that it would not fall off soon. And #1 did have the bar, I just took it off for the photo. The accesorries where a fan, tire pump, fix a flat and something else that I dont remember. I cant even remember what #2 had, I think it was a rain cover and something else. But it did not have a bar.

WOW....if I am the only one going to WDW at the end of August I sure hope that I do not have to wait an hour to ride the rides.(And I would like to ride Soar'in for and hour continuously)

Maddi....you might as well pencil me in for #3 and #5 as well. ( I can put a double and Tink in Sister #1's room, put 2 doubles in sister #2's room and put a double in my room...I have the most people in my room!!!!!)
But I need everyone to drop the stroller's off at CSR. There is no way I can hunt down 5 strollers on my arrival day or when I am suposed to be at a park with the family.
I will have to deliver all the strollers to the correct resort on Thurs. Sept 3rd as the airline changed our flight on the 4th to the morning

I wish that I could help out Delmar411....but I think I am pushing my luck as it is!!!!

I will check back in when I get in from work tomorrow evening!!!

Okay, I have a thought... Since LS seems to be having a hard time finding the strollers... Why don't we each print a picture of the exact stroller (what it looks like open and folded up, and in the bag if there is one) to take with us when we go to pick up the stroller? That way we can just show them exactly what to look for? Would that help?

I've never ever ever claimed anything from LS before, but my memory and powers of explanation leave a LOT to be desired, so this is what I was planning to do.

Maddi, if we don't get good pics before you are down there, maybe you could take some shots of the strollers in the various positions (okay, that sounded worse than I meant ) and post them here or on the first post for us.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday yesterday. The sun finally popped here and the weekend has been beautiful.

Ok...here is my plan while at WDW.

Immediately upon arriving we will be picking up #3 and #4 and giving them the once over that night. Tweaking everything, oiling what needs oiled, tagging everything with my name and info plus fixing whatever needs fixed.

During the week, Strollers #1, #2, and #5 have a down day here or there so I'm going to have everyone drop them off at POP and we will give those strollers a once over also. Plus switching strollers where we need too. If #3 is in better shape than #5, then #3 will be swtiched with #5 and I will be bring #5 home. This way, the best 3 of the 5 strollers will be left at WDW and the other two will be returning to Ohio.

We planned down time during our vacation just to go over the strollers and get them up to par so they will make it to the end of the swaps.

So when you see my name after you, you will be bringing the stroller to POP. To save myself a lil time, at this point I'm thinking about all the incoming swappers either A) meet me at one of the Parks or B) picking up their stroller at POP. I can just see me spending a day fixing the strollers and then running from resort to park to resort then back to a park and back to POP to pick up the next stroller and do the same thing. With delivering 3 strollers...OMG...I will be on the bus all day and night.

So here is the Plan...
Swap #1...goff1029...September 18th...bring the stroller to POP's Luggage services and I will get up fancied up and hand it over to 1luckymonkey at POP---FACE TO FACE SWAP--WAHOOO

Swap #2... renae0118...Sept.19th...I'll meet you at POP(ANOTHER FACE TO FACE WAHOOOO) and get the stroller ready for ready to relax who is arriving on 9/22...ready to relax, we will be at Blizzard beach during the day and MNSSHP that night. So I might be able to meet you really early on the 22nd or you can pick it up at POP anytime during that day.

Swap #3...tinkerbelle21...Sept. 17...I'll meet you at POP...wahoooo another face to face swap!

Swap #4....goff1029...Sept. 18..a double swap off for us, I see!

Swap #5...Jazzi2259...Sept 19th...another face to face! I'll meet you at POP to get the stroller and get it ready for Ifwhipp.. Ifwhipp, as soon as you get in, I can either meet you (yep another face to face) or you can pick it up in Luggage services.

So right now, it looks as though all of the swappers with the exception READY TO RELAX on the 22nd will be staying at POP.

This is my agenda for those coming in...
17th...MK all day with Dinner ressies at 6pm then spectro and wishes.
18th...Epcot all day with Dinner ressies at 4pm
19th...Going to the Ocean with dinner ressies at 5:30pm and photoshoot.
22nd...Blizzard Beach, MNSSHP and dinner ressies at 6:00pm.


OK, I think I have everyone covered plus everyone will arrive and recieve a updated stroller (HOPEFULLY-WE STIL HAVE ALOT OF OPEN DATES AND NEED STROLLER SITTERS!--PLEASE IF YOU CAN STROLLER SIT, LET ME KNOW )

Hey Maddi,

I think we are leaving pretty early on the morning of the 19th so I can meet you on the evening of the 18th to hand deliver stroller #2. We also are going to Epcot on the 18th and have reservations at Le Cellier at 4:05pm. We can plan to meet up that evening when you are doing the pool thing and I will drop it off with you then.

Stroller #4

Hi Guys,
Just a quick note about stroller #4. We ended up not using it at all. With my girls being older (under the weight limit, but still heavy) I didn't want to test the seat strength since this one didn't have any issues. We picked it up from luggage services and just stuck it in the car until time to drop off for Mrsdennison. There was no front bar, and the front wheel is wiggly, but aside from that - it appeared to be in good order.

Just popping on to say I've been sick since June 26th and finally went to doctor today -- got ear infections and sinus infections and fever....yuck.

I haven't been on this thread in two weeks but will get caught up today...I see from the title there are changes...

Looks like RC #5 will be in LS for about 2 weeks or so prior to my arrival. I know someone is Stroller Sitting it but you don't list the location. Where?

I'm not sure if this helps or not but I should be able to stroller sit RC #2 during my dates of Nov 14 to 18 if we can get both RC#5 and RC#2 strollers to (1) BLT or (2) any monorail resort LS or (3) the same location.

We will not have a car and will be leaving late morning on the 18th via Magical Express but we'll certainly have time to drop the two strollers in BLT luggage services. I know RC#5 has BLT after mine and #2 has FWC so I think that might just work.
