A glass of wine!!! I am seeing Disney w/ my 3 nephews (6,6,3) and my niece 1 1/2. I only have cats.

A glass....a bottle...who's counting on vacation especially when disney is driving!!!
FYI....If you order a bottle of wine at dinner and cannot finish it you can have it recorked and bring it back to the room with you. I did this last year when my favorite wine only came by the bottle. It was nice to sip a galsss while the DD's were in the pool

5 more days till we begin our long road trip(1700 miles one way). I am so nervous about the drive. Well actually about the whole thing! Did any of you find things that you needed to avoid while using the stroller ie. gates, buses, trams? We are using #2 if it makes a difference.

We used #2 in March and found that it didn't fit through all the gates at MK. It was easier for DH to fold it up and carry it through. I don't recall having that problem at any other park but MK. We didn't use the buses when we were there but we did use the monorail and you can just push it right on. It worked great when the kids were sleeping.

We're back from using #2!
I want to thank Maddi for running the swap, and Pirate and Princesses for getting the stroller to us and all of the updates.

I wasn't sure we needed a stroller with a 5 and 6 year old, but it was a lifesaver for us in the heat.

On our first day, my son did get his finger caught as my husband was opening the stroller. Lots of bleeding, but it wasn't that bad and the medics told us it was fine to keep going. My husband wasn't paying attention, so my only word of caution is to keep those little hands away when you are opening/closing. Our bad, not the stroller's fault! : )

We had a great trip! Thanks for this service!

9/23 CRT for lunch for DS's birthday (can book a dinner for someone)
9/24 praying for LeCellier for dinner (can book a lunch for someone)
9/25 want CM's for dinner before MNSSHP (can possibly do a lunch for someone as long as i dont have to shift ressie's around to get CM's)

Thank you so much for organizing this swap! The stroller was great, we got the seat and sunshade changed and it looks like a brand new stroller except for the foam on the handle bars needs to be taped. I left it for Canonboy and sent an email to him so he should be all set.

Maddi, do you want the old seats back? I brought them home with me incase. I don't know that they are repairable but I didn't want' to pitch them just in case.

UGh! As my luck would have it, Summermac just called me and informed me that one of the seats on #2 has a major tear all the way to the bottom making it unusable. She also mentioned that the sunshade porthole was ripped as well. I am leaving on Saturday scheduled to arrive on Monday, what can we do?

CRAP! I simply can't figure this out. We are averaging two-three swappers for the seats are tearing out. That seat was just bought and put on June 1-5 by princesses&pirates!

Ok...Mickeymom24...Please PM starrynyt and get cannonboys information. Stroller #1 is still idle from 6/14-28, so you can pick it up and use it to the 28th. I know that isn't your full time but it's very close. I'm sorry you will have to turn the stroller over to Cannonboy when he gets in unless you guys work out something otherwise. PM both Starrynyt and cannonboy...OK?

Could you also...PLEASE...pick up #2 and keep it in your room? I'll PM MouserMom09 and see if she would be interested in donating a new seat that way she will have a stroller when she gets there. I highly doubt I can get them to replace it again since I was able to twice and they were really hesitant the last time. If she is interested in donating a new seat for #2, then at the end of your stay you can simply leave it for her as you two had originally planned.

We've got to work fast so we can get this all worked out before you leave.

How in the world could that have happened? That is not fixable...that is a the frame. Ok, the best I can do in that situation is send one of the hippo sunshades down...but I don't even know if that will work when the regular shade is damaged.

Anyone have an idea on this one?

I will let them both know and hopefully I can get in touch with them. I will not even be going to the park on the 29th so that works out fine. I can pick up #2 and take it back to WH. Hubby will be confused as to why I need 2 double strollers but I will fill him in. Hopefully, I can find room to fit both of them in our vehicle or I might have to make a few trips. I don't mind after all you have gone through to keep your swappers happy. So what will happen if #2 does not get a seat replaced. You would think that adults were sitting in the strollers at the rate they are tearing!

If Mousermom09 isn't able to donate, I'll ask the next swapper. Only thing is...unless someone donates a seat for the swap, the swap is out of commission.

The seats aren't expensive at all. They are 11.99 plus shipping (under $5.00 for shipping) if you take the seat with you. If someone donated and ships it down...OUCH depending on how they ship it...it can be an additional $12-30.00. That's why I asked mousermom09 if she would be willing...that would save alot in shipping just to take it down with her plus she will still have a stroller. I don't have her dates open in any of the other swaps.

I know, that is exactly what I thought (not the jinx part) but that you were awesome with changing swaps then this happens.

I don't think Disboards will allow two ppl to split the cost--if that is what you mean. But then again...I don't know that for sure, only that money can't exchange hands between dis'ers.

As for me...It doesn't matter to me, I'm just hoping it will be donated and the stroller fixed soon.

I know exactly how you feel! I was so excited when Jazzi was able to help me out. Boy am I glad she did, I couldn't even touch Ohana and CM at all this morning. I could have gotten CP but it was at 3:40. I don't think so....lol
