Hello, I am going to be at Disney Sept 18th to the 25th and would love to become involved in the stroller swap if possible. I am looking for 1 double stroller for sure, possibly 2 if I can. Oh good my sewing job held up, (I'm excited can you tell). I'm so glad that it worked for you, my sewing skills are getting better and better. I was really hoping it would hold up until we got a new seat. princesses&pirates, the bar wasn't there when I received it either I think looking back on previous posts the bar hasn't been there for a while if I remember correctly. ( I could be wrong though) I have been reading this swap since december none stop to make sure everything was going o.k. before my trip in May. The only thing I remember that I thought #2 should have was the bag that wasn't there, but I think Maddi has that now. Maddi has done an excellent job with keeping everything going in this swap. It sure saved me a lot of money, I am very thankful for you Maddi and this swap and the great people involved in it. Thanks again for all of your hard work.

We are home and I am exhausted! DS(6), DD(4), and DD(10months) were so much work. They better remember this vacation and they better like it!!!! jk, the baby is off the hook. But the baby was the best behaved of them all.

There is lots I could talk about and might write about in the next few days, but here is what I know about the swap, besides the fact that is awesome--
#1--Sent the canopy and seat to Michelle at POP. it really needed the canopy. The canopy and storage basket I bought was less than 28$ with shipping. So a new one for #2 wont be bad--still cheaper than renting!!!!
#2--Let's see. Replaced the seat. Not too hard to do. Took about 45 minutes while the kids slept one night. Kind of relaxing for me actually(I know that sounds wierd, but would have to know me). If it gets a new canopy, it will look great too, but very functional. Its so big! The girls rolled in it to FWL and seemed real comfy. I have the old seat--You want it, right, parkers*momma? I put the strorage basket I bought for #2 with two instead of putting it on there because it didnt look that bad to me. I thought that if anyone really finds it not useful they could replace it, but at least get as much use out of the one on there. So it is in the bag with the rain cover and clorox wipes, adn ponchos. Just need a phillips head to replace it.
OH yeah! The missing bar--thought that was fixed--nope. There is no bar. Called Pop and asked them to look for a bar under any name, since the swapper who left it wouldnt work with me, and nothing. Sorry Maddi, that was really frustrating and I thought it was worked out but jerseygirlsinsi is the only one who knows how that went.
#4--Used this one the most. After looking at it VERY closely, I agree with some of the other posts, it is suppose to do that. There is a spring on the little platform that the tire is attached to which allows for some give and flexibilty when the added weight gets in. Like you guys said, add the diaper bag and presto!!
Did I leave anything out? I may be home, but I am not leaving this soap opera! DH is aready planning the next one. oh my. I will add more in the next few days if I think of anything.
Thanks isnt enough to explain what maddi is doing for all our vacations. These are great strollers and wont do disney without one like it again!

Thank so much for the update!! I'm glad those seats FINALLY reached you! I think they set at WDW for two days before they got to you!

So #2 needs the front bar. Hopefully someone will step forward and donate one...especially if they have lil ones, it is definitely going to be needed.

I'm not sure where to even start calling to find it....anyone have any suggestions?

Ladies...I want to thank all of you. WIth such great swappers as the Royal Carriage swappers, it really is easy to organize. Almost everyone seems to help in any way they can.

We have bumps...some bigger than others...but for the most part, I really REALLY enjoy doing the swap. I've made some really special friends and met some fantastic ppl due to the swaps.

In all Honesty, I'm really going to miss it when the last swapper has their vacation.

But guess what! You and I are swap buddies! Boy are you going to have it rough for the exchange!!! You get to do a face to face swap with me at POP

Wednesday night we are doing Wishes at Tahiti Beach and on Thursday heading to MK for rope drop...that's the plan right now anyway. But if you are like me, waiting on Sept. hours this week to set anything in stone.

Are you not so annoyed that Sept. hours are not up? I am trying to figure out extra magical hours so I can plan my days and where to make my ADR's. It is driving me bananas!
I think we leave for the airport around 2pm on Wed. So we'll have to set a time to meet for the swap. Counting down the days!
