Sorry, I missed this. I was working behind the scenes with missing front bar, changes with two swaps, and trying to get all 6 swappers on the same page plus getting the part with the right stroller. What a mess, luckily princesses&pirates stepped up and within no time she had everything on right track!

Hey there! We're still in for now. We might be taking our own stroller though - when we originally signed up, we'd have a 6+ mo old but since we changed our reservations, he'll only be 4 months old. I'm worried the stroller might be too big for him - ours is more "snuggly" and not so grown up. I'll definitely keep you posted though. If someone needs my spot (or you can consolidate without me) - feel free to give it away, it won't hurt my feelings

Received your PM. We are still in for the swap in October and I will be keeping watch for what is needed as we get closer to our date (looks like we were moved to RC#5 due to the issue with #3).

The real story is that we will definitely be taking our own double down due to too many uncertainties, but I am willing and happy to stay in the swap since the strollers need to stay out of storage and may need parts etc. That being said, if one of the other strollers has issues and you need to start rearranging, you can bump us out without any problems.

We would love to join in on one of these swaps. Our dates are October 3 - 10. Are there any strollers available for these dates (full or partial) or is there a waiting list I can be put on if anyone cancels. This would truly be a lifesaver for us, we are on a very tight budget. Thanks!

As of 4/21/09, We do ask that you have been a member of DISBOARDS for at least 6 months and have 75 post to plus staying ONSITE to participate in our swap.. Just as you don't know us, we don't know you. Sadly, this decision was made due to the recent issues caused by people joining DISBOARDS just for a "free" stroller. We aren't trying to be unfriendly towards new DIS'ers, we are just looking out for the best welfare of our strollers.

When we go in October it will have been nearly 6 months since my join date & judging by my DH's complaints about the amount of time I have been spending on the computer lately, I'm sure I'll have met the post # requirements, but if not, I understand.

I'm just sad it took me several weeks to find this board. I love it & have learned soooooooo much for our very first trip to the world!

I actually had no idea about the stoller swap deal until I was recommended this site by a member of tug to learn about things to do in Orlando since e have never been. We have Disneyland Annual passes and think this site would be useful to us down the line. Obviously if we don't make the cut we would be dissappointed because I think it is a fabulous idea. Maybe if you know someone that lives in the Orlando area would could do an exchange(when they visit Disneyland) that we be great. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would also be more than happy to post a pic of our double stroller and the excellent condition it is still in after 2 1/2 years of use to prove how "worthy" we are.

Unfortunately joining this swap is not going to be possible as the rules in post #1have been put in place for a reason. The biggest one that you are not staying ON SITE at WDW.
If you are looking to rent a stroller while you are there instead of lugging one with you I can suggest www.abbf.com. They will deliver and pick up directly to your hotel.

Hi everyone!!!! Took a break from the DIS over the weekend Can you believe it??? Been a little busy.... Princess 5th birthday party (at my house) with 12 princesses, family b-day BBQ (at my house), neighborhood get together (at my house). Disney would be more relaxing than this past weekend! Phew! But it was lots of fun.

So happy to see all of the future swappers posting on the thread. Parkers*Momma your fingers sure have been busy! But glad to see so many swappers are still committed!

Oh YES....we are still in for July 3-10...and cannot wait!

We have managed to keep it a secret from our kiddos since we started planning in January...and they still have no clue. It is their first trip and they are going flip out when they wake up on July 3rd and find out where we are headed.

Also, I have tried to get in touch with the swapper after me (Artist). I still have not got a response. Any suggestions?
