Seriously, though, it's really important that everyone take a little extra time to make sure that the stroller(s) gets to the next swapper. This swap is saving those who participate soooo much money and/or the hassle of having to bring their own stroller, that I think a little courtesy and common sense isn't too much to ask for.

Why the rant? Parkers*Momma went through a really tough few weeks with several of the swaps going bad. (swappers not communicating, not picking up the stroller as promised, lost strollers, etc.). It took up so much of her time. She doesn't need that.

But hey, like the stock market, things can only look up from here!

When I did the swap in November we picked it up from what I thought was bell services and I left it with what I thought was bell services and got a claim ticket... We will be doing the swap again in May and want to make sure we swap correctly.

Luggage Check means that you personally bring the stroller to the front desk of the agreed resort and have them take the stroller from you, put it in the luggage storage room and hand you a claim ticket. (It is ok to work with the bellman AT THE FRONT DESK as long as he takes the stroller to the luggage storage area and hands you a claim ticket.)

Bell Services is when someone comes up to your room and takes the stroller from you and promises to put it in the luggage storage area or bring it to another resort. Usually, you don't get a claim ticket when this happens. And you never actually know where that friendly bellman will put the stroller or if it will ever ever arrive at the agreed upon resort. THIS IS HOW STROLLERS GET LOST.

Disney offers a service to it's guest who stay at more than one resort during their vacation or for guest who are leaving something for another guest at another resort.

OUTGOING SWAPPER leave the stroller for an incoming swapper at INCOMING SWAPPERS resort in Luggage services or Bell Services and get a claim ticket to phone to the incoming swapper.

Where we have a problem is when the outgoing swapper leaves the stroller at THEIR resort for Disney to transfer to the INCOMING SWAPPERS resort. This is where the stroller comes up missing.

You can definitely leave the stroller at bell services or luggage services but it is the SWAPPERS responsibility to take it to the INCOMING swappers resort.

Oh my, could not pm you for some reason, I have always wanted to say this.... the check is in the mail..... or it will be in the am when the postmaster sends it. LOL have a super fab weekend. If possible I also need to add.....the Fri and Sat for my trip...... yeah, I think it is the 24th and 25th. Did not know there is a TOT 5k .... gotta stay an extra few days for that!!!!

I was wondering if there are any cup holders with the stroller. I have seen online some that fit a double jogger and velcro onto the handles. If it wouldn't be a problem using one of these, I would like to order one for our trip in Oct. I would then of course leave it with the stroller.

That would be awesome and I'm sure the swappers after you would appreciate it! Currently there are no cup holders with the stroller.

I checked the link and that cup holder is recommended for the Instep Safari Double Jogging stroller, which is what the RCs are.
