Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

Hi there,

I'll be getting RC#1 in a week and a half. The person before me is leaving it in luggage services at AKL, and I'll be leaving it at luggage services at Pop for the next swapper (hey there, Zarvgirl! ). So, where exactly *is* luggage services? We'll have a car, so it'll be an easy transfer; will I have any problems getting past security at the gate?

To the people who are dropping the ball and lossing strollers: Isn't saving tons of money worth a little responsibility on your part???

In the Values (POP) it is usually in the front of the main doors to the lobby. I've only been an All Star guest but moving up to Pop this year. Honestly, If it was me...I'd ask the first person who didn't look lost at the resort. That is one thing my DH hates....I've never met a stranger! Seroiusly, as soon as you stop at a resort, just ask one of the CM's they will gladly help you.

We are driving from Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are leaving at like 3:15 when the kids get out of school! We're stopping in Gas City, Indiana to eat this little hole in the wall pizza join in my hubby's home town. AFter that we will drive straight through to Kissimme!! Wooo hooo. Hubby works 3rd, so he will drive until the sun comes up and then its my turn to take over. Suits me just fine.

I will defintely take pics of the stroller tonight when hubby gets it put together. I'll probably post quite a few pics! I'm a proud parent LOL

WOW...that is even closer to home! I'm about 40 minutes from Ft Wayne!

Sorry if this has be asked/answered before, but I couldn't read through 113 pages! How easy is the double stroller to get on and off the buses, monorail, etc? How easily does it fold and how bulky is it too move around when its folded up?

Also, do the strollers stay pretty clean from swapper to swapper? It seems like it would be common courtesy to pass it on in good, clean condition, but we all know how THAT goes!

Only 17 more sleeps for us, and I am running around like a maniac and am sure I will continue until we are back home and I have unpacked the bags, three weeks later.

OK Swappers.... Let's all take a little pledge. Come on, say it with me...

As a lucky member of the RC swap, and out of respect for my fellow swappers and Parkers*Momma, I promise to:
1. Read the ENTIRE first post in the thread
2. Pay my $10 promptly
3. Make contact with the swapper before and after me 3 WEEKS prior to my dates and work out swapping arrangements (please share cell phone numbers!)
4. Personally leave the stroller at the agreed resort luggage check, GET A CLAIM CHECK, and contact the swapper after me with the claim check # number
5. NEVER EVER EVER give the stroller to bell services.
6. Contact Parkers*Momma immediately (not when I return) if anything happens to the stroller or swap arrangements.

And, most importantly, I promise to follow through with my arrangements, even if my plans change. I will NEVER not pick up the stroller as agreed.
