I have extra mommy hooks and fans. I also have 4 of the 5 strollers in 2 weeks. Any stroller without a fan or mommy hook, I will leave one with the stroller for the next swapper! 11 days til I leave.... whoop whoop

Yes, only you can add a poll, it's not an option up in my thread tools, but when I went to a thread I created, it was there. Click on thread tools, and scroll down to add a poll to this thread. I agree, it will be much easier for you!

When you get the list of items already with #4 I'll let you know what I'll add to it. If you are able to get a new #4 how will you handle the stroller that's already there? I know you wanted it to come back to you to see if you could have it fixed...is this still the plan. Will you send it to a swapper to swap out the accessories?

Remember, if you need extra $$ to replace 4 soon, I'll send you that. But, if 4 is not in need of replacement or you don't need the $$, I'll certainly bring something down with me as soon as the current swapper comes home and gives you a report.

I have Nelep's DH giving it a thorough once over. If it needs to be fixed, he's going to do it. If it's a minor thing then it will be done and worry free for a while. If it is a serious minor thing (needing something more than a wrench or screw driver) but can be repaired then I am going to figure out how to get it home, get it fixed and use it as a back up (meaning a new stroller will be in WDW before the other is shipped home). If it is a major fix (welding, broken frame, etc) then it will A) be disposed and a new one will be at WDW---B) It will be donated to a shelter in Florida with the hopes they can get someone locally to fix it.


Yes, when I get the accessories bought, I'll mail them to WDW in a swappers name. From past experience-from the moment an item is shipped it takes about 10 days. Even if UPS says it is there...It is in central...not at the resorts. So once the items are bought, it will be sent to someone about two weeks out so I know the items will be there while they are there.
I just have to wait on Nelep to give me an update.

Thank you SOOOOOO much for offering to send extra for the replacement stroller and offering to bring something with you. I'm totally shocked that most of the accessories have disappeared since Early Dec. It's really sad because with a lil care when handing off the stroller or taking it to luggage services could have prevented this. The accessories should easily last a year if not longer. A little care goes along way.

Sounds good. Hopefully it's repairable! And, hey, an extra $10 or an accessory is still a WAY BETTER DEAL than renting from Disney or risking ruining my already beaten up stroller!

I am interested in joining the stroller swap! I will be at POR checking in late on the 27th of June and checking out on July 4th.
I will have two girls (both age 7) that I think will benefit from a stroller - hubby says no though! We will be there during the most crowded time of year so I think containing them in a stroller will be a good idea.
What do you think? Will they both fit in the stroller? One of my girls is about 50 pounds the other only about 40.

Yes, they will be fit. Hubby just doesn't know what it's like to put up with whining kids all day. A tired, whiney kid will ruin your afternoon and nobody will have any fun. Even if both of them don't ride at the same time, it's nice to have the double stroller for those "Just in case" times.
