Would this stroller hold an 8 and 6 year old kids? We rented the Disney Double in Sept 08 at the price of $161.00 which was insane but my kids like having a ride and we have less meltdowns this way. I think they are really getting too big at least the 8 yo but she would still like to ride at times. Se weighs 63 lbs and he weighs 48 lbs. will it hold them and still be easy to push around.:confused3

I has my 8yr old & almost 7yr old in it and it worked great.

You too!! And at the same time so we can sit at the pool and sip cool drinks (of choice:rolleyes1 ) and watch the kids swim. AAhhhhhhh..............

I can't get the hang of this quote thing!!!!!Argggh!!!

LOL...I've been watching the thread about the photopass share and my fingers are itching! I still don't understand why those who are so against swaps even bother openning thread up that clearly pertain to swaps...then get their panties in a bunch over it. I do feel sorry for the poor person who's leader didn't follow through...I would probably hound that person to death to get my pictures...but it's a chance we all take in swaps.

So when are you heading back to WDW? I'm love the end of September...low crowds, not to hot, not to cool...I've been there the last 4 years the same week. My DH keeps saying "with the economy as bad as it is, how are you going to pull it off." Easy! I can sell off things I don't need (EX. Him when he forgets to put the toilet lid down, put his dirty clothes BESIDE the hamper, etc.), or find a sugar daddy who is impotent, or start sucking up to the boss to get a raise (which I haven't had in three years). If there is a will there is always a way to get to WDW.

I've got to jet-time to start sucking up to the boss...lol!

Are we any closer to replacing the missing stroller?

I know-after seeing first hand how much swaps upset some people-I felt bead for the OP not only for losing her pics but also for the firestorm that was coming her way. I will never understand people who feel the need to say "I told you so:snooty: " Ok so she had a bad experience because she trusted someone-what a terrible person she is:sad2: . I really fell bad for her.

I want to go back NOW! LOL-but that's not in the cards. I had a Jan. trip booked (4/3 special) and DH and I decided that it was too soon after xmas, so I went to cancel and the CM "talked":rolleyes1 me into pushing it back to May. She really twisted my arm!pirate: But I am thinking I would love to see Disney done up for the holidays *sigh*. I agree with any means to get to Disney-lol. We will see what happens.

I was wondering what your DD name was? I think she and my DD might have played together in the pool:idea: . She looks so familiar.

Okay, so I am sitting here having a snow day (first grade teacher) and I volunteered to mind all of the kids that my mom takes care of (she does home daycare) because she has a trip to Dana Farber with my sis and the parents weren't planning on having to find care for 5 kids (3 are in school). while I wait for the 5 to come, I am watching my son and one other 2 year old who is his good buddy. His mom is in the hospital with a very serious blood clot in her leg and lung so naturally, his dad is visiting her hoping to speak with the Doc's. I am about to pull my hair out. They decided to pull the garland off her tree, bowl with her ornaments, and ultimately, throw one against a wall where it shattered into too many pieces to count. I am a nervous wreck about the 1 year old coming and crawling onto a stray piece of glass that the vacuum missed

And, to top it all off, I am utterly exhausted from the two of them. I don't know how my mom does it. I thought 20 6 year olds were hard work!

So, my DS is now down for a nap and after a nice hearty lunch the other is chilling out watching Caillou.

On a side note, I have no clue why we arent' in school. It's cold out, but very sunny. They must not have gotten the school plowed out. And, I have way too much to do with my kids before the break. This puts a damper on my plans. And, will they open the school for one day this week and pay the heat/electrical bills for our "Polar Express Day?"

Only time will tell!

And, here's a bump for the thread.

We had Stroller 1 last week and it worked great for our 6 year olds. The stroller is missing the Mommy Hook or at least I couldn't find it. Otherwise it is in good condition. A little hard to use on the trams but we had no problem getting it in and out of the car.

Are we any closer to replacing the missing stroller?

bump! :) I am getting so excited for our trip!

How much more do we need to get a new stroller, I could re-kick in another $10 maybe even 20 if it will get me a stroller for my entire week @ the end of Jan. Because right now I am gonna have to pay 60 dollars for the first two days, if not 90 for the third day.

I'd like stroller # 4 February 2-6 and then stroller #2 February 7-11. We'll be there from the 2-11 but I didn't see 1 stroller for the whole time. Thanks. We will be staying at POP by the way
