waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....I have until mid September! Is it a sin to wish your life away?

hi there! I'm new to the board but found it through a DIS'er. after many thoughts of planning a trip, we are finally going to disney world!! We'll need the stroller from Sept. 20th until the 26th and we're staying at the Pop so we'll need RC #4. Our plans are not finalized yet so obviously our reservations are not made but hopefully within the next month things will be all in place. Can someone tell me though, by chance do infant carseats fit in them like other strollers?

Reporting on stroller usage from 12/7/08-12/9/08 RC#4

The stroller was HUGE and cumbersome to lug around. We used it one day and we were done with it. Hard to carry around and hard to stick it on a tram let alone on a Disney bus. It's HEAVY compared to a regular stroller but it does hold up to 2 children or 1 child and room for extra bags. The mommy clip was AWESOME. That thing really helped out alot.

The stroller still has the bag but it's tearing. The front wheel is somewhat damaged from what appear to be too much weight on the front or from hitting curbs or something like that. When you try to turn it, it's very difficult at times and hard to maneuver. I had only DD4 at 43 pounds and it was hard to maneuver around with her in it at AK. After one day of use we just took it to guest services at POP to leave it for the next family in line (Johnson family). I hope they got good use out of it and hope their trip went as well as ours did. Boy was it chilly at night.

Hi there. I'm back from Disney and just wanted to give an update on RC1. Michelle left it for me at Animal Kingdom Villas so I just went down to the Bell Services and picked it up. The fan and rain cover are still there but not the bag nor the clip. It was real easy to use, fold up etc. It's a little cumbersome getting on the buses but we used the back door allot of the time, not a big deal. I had a 4 and 5 yr old both tall for their age and while there wasn't any extra room, neither was uncomfortable.

The stroller itself is in great condition. I wiped everything down (but was unable to actually wash the covers) before giving to Bell Services to be transferred to POR for the person next in line. I didn't let my kids eat in there except the night of the MVMCP when I gave them popcorn during the wait for the parade.

My husband and I both agree it was money well spent!

I noticed it was easier to push with both children in it, I also notice we had to keep switching the little black lever on the wheel for the front, it was like it kept locking. I do admit too that it is big and cumbersome, but to us it was well worth the effort. We had a rental car though so it was easier. Hope you had an easy time getting the stroller. The folks at check in and luggage help really had no idea how to handle a stroller swap. Good luck to all in line and I look forward to stroller swapping a single stroller next Thanksgiving.

Where do you get a mom's clip? Every one raves about how useful it is and now it is gone from RC#1? Also, where do you find cup holders for the strollers? I know that we will be needing those! Only 3 more days!!!!:cool1: :cheer2: :yay: Although not looking forward toward the drive!:scared:

The Mommy hooks are at Babies R us for 6.99...I'm not sure where to get those cups holders. Neat weren't they?!?!

But I won't have it in time for you...unless you wanna pick one up and I can mail you a money order for the amount. Let me know :)

Thanks for the update on RC1. We still have a few more months until we use it, but time is flying by.

I will wash the pads in RC1 when I have it in March since we will have in-room laundry. :)

Michaels mom.... are you getting ready for all the storms heading our way!! They don't predict too much snow for RI & the Cape but you never know. It should make for interesting commute tomorrow.

I am bad. I never pay attention to the weather. As I was reading your post, my mom told me we were getting a blizzard! Hahaha..so clearly, I haven't been getting ready.:lmao: I'm going to have to now though!

All the schools are closed for tomorrow in RI and we are expecting about 10" of snow so I guess I will just have to sit back, relax and surf the disboards.:thumbsup2

Our schools are closed too. I think I'll call into work and surf the disboards!
