Maddi~thanks for pixie dust. I am finally home and so glad. I am so sorry about the stroller not going to WL. My husband was stressed with me in hospital and the 2 girls alone. Nothing like a good emergency surgery while on vacation to Disney. LOL. I highly recommend Celebration Hospital.

I'm glad you are feeling better...at least enough to make it home. Hopefully you were able to enjoy a lil of your vacation. I did get a giggle out of the "highly recommend Celebration Hospital" as most of us come back recommending a certain restaurant or ride. I really feel bad for your DH and the situation....the stroller was no big deal, once I had a lead on it, it was no biggie. A couple of calls and all was well again. I'm just glad you are better, hoping you were able to enjoy a lil of your vacation, and sending more pixie dust that you are feeling better and healthy again.

Hey, Maddi -- It's 3 weeks (and 2 days) until I pick up my stroller and I haven't heard from the person I give it to next (robbinsgirls3). I sent her a PM on 10/15 and she hasn't read it yet. I posted a msg in this thread.

Anyway, if she doesn't respond then I'm just leaving the stroller at BLT since the person after robbinsgirls3 is also at BLT ... it will make life easier for both of us to just keep it there.

Sarah is better and back in pre-school. Now we just hope that Hannah doesn't get sick, or that she at least gets it over with before we leave.

I have tape for the handles already packed, so if it's needed, I've got it.

Question for the group: If RC5 has two stroller covers, and RC2 has none, should I take one from RC5 and put it on RC2? I'll have both for a couple of overlap days and can even things up a bit if you want me to. Just let me know.

Yes, please do move one of the raincovers to the other stroller. That way both will have one.

OK, she was last online on 10/22/09. Oddly, both of us have PM'd her and no response. I'll PM her again right now and If we don't here anything by Wednesday, I'll go from there.

Also, the person after her just PM'd that they aren't going to need the stroller. If robbinsgirls3 doesn't respond, I'm going to move the last swapper in #2 to #5 and that will close #2 on 11/14/09.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Glad to see that both the strollers are still holding up!!! I am missing Disney sooo much. It is going to be a while before I get back so I am just going to have to live through everyone else for a couple of years!!!
Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone was!!!

Okay, so I'll even up the stroller accessories. I think I have a few things that I am bringing from home too to leave with them (cup holder, bag hook, etc.).

If anything changes while I'm at Disney, the swappers before and after me have my cell #. I won't have computer access (decided to leave my laptop at home to save the hassle and the $10/day access fee).

I leave in less than a week! Finally got DH to start packing. It kills me that he waits to the last minute, so this is a huge step for him.

I'll keep checking the boards, but we have a jam packed "weekend" beginning tomorrow afternoon (Halloween is big around here!) and then I'll be in packing mode. I want to make sure I do the right thing. You said it might stop with me or go to another swapper who hasn't reposnded or the sitter???

Also, I just read that Poly CL has some jogging strollers that are available for guests on a first come first serve basis. Do any of the "stroller gurus" here know anything about them?

I leave tomorrow, and I'm starting to get a fever

I started feeling sick last night (sore throat, congested, achy neck), so I took an allergy pill (wishful thinking), but I still feel icky today. I took some DayQuil and Zicam.

Why oh why does this have to happen to me now!?! And my kids are acting cranky, which makes me suspect they are getting sick as well, but there was no fever this morning, and no compliants.

I just needed to share my misery with my RC friends. I've been finalizing all our packing, but now I think I'll just rest for a few hours and let DH take over when he gets home.

I just got a text from RaeNYNY that RC5 is broken.

This is all I know:
- When you unfold it, it is missing a screw so it slips out easy (I think we knew that already anyway)
- The bar that connects the back to the top bar was just hanging on & then broke.

I'm going to PM Maddi now.

Okay, bags are packed and in the car. I'm feeling a little better - no fever (never got above 99.5, thankfully), so hopefully it is just a little head cold.

DH is packing is all-purpose tool thingy (Leatherman?), so maybe he can fix whatever broke on RC5.
