Royal Caribbean Kids Sail Free

You might not miss it as much as you thought. :)

I know we will have an awesome trip, esp since our best friends are coming along and we are celebrating our oldest dd's graduation. I just hate comparing every vacation we go on with a disney one. It's a sickness. :)

Our family of 4 and our friends' family of 4 just booked Freedom of the Seas this morning. Since 3 out of 4 of our children are counted as adults but still free due to the promotional sale, this was a great deal for us! Gonna miss my Disney trip though...

My kids went on Disney first and preferred Royal Caribbean when they went on it.

My friend was just on a Disney cruise and complained that when her kids went to the kids club, it had been converted into a 'computer room'. They weren't doing typical kids' activities. Her girls were disappointed.

Where do you book this ? I can only find TA/sites where you have to call for this promo. Does anyone know a site where I can book 3th/4th person free online ? I just want to play around dates etc to see what sailings are entitled to this promo before confirming to book. TIA

You can do this on the Royal Caribbean website. Click on the banner that shows kids sail free on their home page.

Norweigan is doing Kids sail free, balcony upgrades, and stateroom credits right now. BIG deal sto be had. Also, I was told the 3rd and 4th person in a room are FREE even if not kids with this promo. So, if you have another couple that you travel with TIGHTLY you could pinch pennies.... although the rooms are tight with my 3 and 5 year olds in the room! lol

We're looking into trying a cruise, first time. Our last Disney trip was less magical so taking break for a year. I saw a Thanksgiving cruise under this deal. Is a 7 night Caribbean cruise for 7 (5 kids) for $4,000 for 2 balcony rooms a good deal?:confused3 Are there better deals if we look around? Do cruise rooms connect at all? Is Cozuma, Mexico safe right now? Any other advice? I don't know how to plan a cruise trip as opposed to theme park trips.

That's a great deal, especially over Thanksgiving. They do have some connecting rooms-- you might want to call them so that they can help you find those. Cozumel is extremely touristy. We've never felt unsafe there. What ship are you looking at?

Did they have any more words to describe that? I'm not sure it makes sense to me.

Is it a good deal? Um, yes. It is. Very. Wow. If it's even in the realm of possibilities, I would consider booking that and THEN discussing it with the family (I believe you are still in the phase where you would get everything back if you cancelled).

Meanwhile, you can go on over to the RCCL forum here on the Dis, if you haven't already, to talk about specifics! :)

I booked the Oasis for 4 of us in a Boardwalk view balcony (in the aft so also a view of the ocean out the back) for $2800! This is leaving the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I looked up the prices for a few dates that I am interested in (mainly summer) but for what I can see they have just increased the prices for the 1st and 2nd pax and offer the 3rd pax free. So the total balance is even more expensive than if you would have booked before the kids sail free promo ...... so beware.

E.g booking for 2 pax in an inside cost 1099pp but booking 3 in an inside cost 1799 pp and then 3rd pax is free ! Well... can you call that free ?????

I am sure there are good deals for some dates but for my dates this is just not working !
