For anyone that went or worked at HHN this past weekend --

What was your perception of the crowd this past weekend? I heard that over 35 people were kicked out of the park for rowdy behavior, to include urinating on people. I have gone to HHN for the past three years with my son (then he was in middle school)and his friends but we have always gone on a Thursday night when there was no school on Friday. I have NEVER experienced anything close to rowdy but have heard the weekend crowd is much more wild. Well, my son is now in high school and wants to go this year without parents with a group of about 10 kids this Friday night. There's girls going and some of their parents are really concerned. Thoughts?

With any event anywhere there are always a couple bad apples in the bunch but I don't think there is anything to worry over. With the crowds that were there I could understand how it could be interperted as rowdy but personally I'd send them on their way over and tell them to enjoy.

I did hear about Sat. the 5th. There are UO security officers everywhere, and with every one of them is an OPD officer. They are using real metal detectors for park entry. In all of the years I worked HHN as a VIP Tour Guide, noone ever was seriously hurt or injured. The usual fights with the drunks-that was about it! The OPD is excellent and in force!!

I'm sure they'll be fine:) Even if 35 people were booted from the park, 35 out of 32,000 is not a horrible ratio of troublemakers for any large event! There always seems to be an occassional problem at HHN on the weekends, but nothing that security doesn't handle. We'll be there Fri. and Sat. (Our group ranges in age from 17-21) and even with the massive crowds it'll still be great.

I went Oct. 5 and only had one experience with rowdy people. I didn't witness any fights, just some drunk people trying to be funny. By the way I'm a teen and was fine.

from what I heard last Saturday they didn;t seem to act all together but you have to expect this being the beginning. And where alcohol is served there is going to be a little bit of crazyiness

did anyone hear about the major accident on I-4 last night? what i heard was that they had to close I-4 down closer to tampa/south FL, which made a lot of people who had tix for last night unable to go. tonight is sold out, but i do wonder what kind of compensation, if any, the people will get due to the I-4 closure.

If they explain what happened to Guest Services, they should be fine. The manager of Guest Services should be involved if no is given.
