Does anyone know how the row alignment goes for a Northwest/Delta airbus A319? In previous flights I have booked with Delta, when I pick say Row 20, 3 of us were in row 20, then directly across from us was a different row # and the row 20 we thought was going to be across, was actually diagonal to our row.

I have been looking at seat maps on all different websites and can't find anything that tells me if row 20 goes straight across or if we actually want row 20 on one side and say row 21 on the other side.

Thanks

Not sure about that plane but I know what you mean. On SWA (Boeing 737) the rows are staggered too. We have found that for the 4 of us, or 6 of us when my parents come, it's actually easier to be in the row directly behind/in front of each other. It makes it easy to pass gum/games/ipods/port dvd players, etc. back and forth w/o reaching across the aisle. Also my kids each get a window so no bickering there. jmho.:goodvibes

ruadisneyfan2 - thanks for the advice. I never thought of that, and it also gives one of the kids a little more leeway in case they kick the seat in front of them accidently!;)

Thanks for the link Jestocost.:)
