Round 5--Scrapping with Swapped Items--WE HAVE A WINNER!

After MONTHS of not completing a single page, I am delighted to finally have some to post! I'm at 7!

All 4 flowers are from the Prima swap from a couple of years ago.

This page doesn't count as it only has one altered paper clip which was perfectly made by VickiV and PrettyinTink.

Tag is mine from the Zoo tag swap and turns/brads are from the metal group in last year's embellishment swap.

And my absolute favorite:

GORGEOUS paper pieced title by the fabulously talented Hopemax as part of the Surprise swap last fall and gold ribbon from a Fantasyland swap from 3 years ago. I am so happy to have this beautiful piece to use on the title page of my 2006 DL trip. Thank you, Hope!!!

You are all so sweet! I feel like my pages are so boring. I see so many people who layer torn paper and have all these little doo-dads sticking over their pages. They always look so dimensional and mine seem to pale in comparison. But then again, I don't like my pages to look cluttered so I do what I can.

This is a first for me. I'm posting that I actually used some of the swap items I've received. pretty in tink and I made some paper bag albums yesterday to give as a gift today (our first attempt).

I used ribbon from rlovew (2nd chance swap I think) some assorted paper and some brads from both of my Secret Sisters, bearbear and partyof3! It came out quite well. pretty in tink's did too.

Since I gave them away today, I have no pictures to post and am not in the contest. I just wanted to say I finally did it and this seemed the place to do it.

At my work every year we draw names for Christmas. This year I drew one of my favorite co-workers.. I decided that i wanted to make her a scrapbook and I THANK you all for helping me. Almost everything in her album was from swaps! I know I was in awe that I could use so many things. I did alter a couple things a tad bit but only because a flower on a boy page wouldn't have looked right

I also added the 2 other albums that I just finished One was a bridal shower gift for a co-worker and the other is a 50th wedding anniversary book for a co-workers parents. No swap items on these except on the dog page of the 50th album
