Round 3, Match 4: The Lion King vs Tarzan

Here we are again. The final match of Round 3 is now upon us. After this, it's on the the semi-finals. But for now, we have the uber-popular animal classic going against the much beloved friendly man-ape.

The Lion King:

The Lion King wins with an amazing 16-0 victory. Wow! A shutout!

This is a tough one, but I have to pick Lion King. Tarzan is a great movie and didn't get the credit it deserved. The animation was great, and songs like Son of Man are top notch. Still, all around, the Lion King wins this round for me.

I liked Tarzan when I saw it in 1999, but...I mean, it's the Lion King. Gotta stick with Simba.

Man, this is an EPIC smashdown if I ever saw one. The Lion King takes the cake no contest. It is SUCH a beautiful movie all around. The story is just amazing. It's something that came out when I was a kid, and I can't wait to show my kids (when I have some). It's amazing how the movie comes full circle, and at the time of seeing it when I was young, I never thought about it, but now that I'm older, once I come full circle and have children of my own, I look forward to watching it with them.

The music of Tarzan is so beautiful but The Lion King is such a Disney classic.
