Rotten Tomatoes ranked the Top 100 Disney Animated Movies. Only Disney, No Pixar. I wasn't at all surprised at the bottom of the list #100, but the top of the list, the # 1 choice surprised me. I would it have put it at 7 or 8, definitely not # 1. Before you look at the list, take a guess and post what you think # 1 is.

There are so many things I disagree with on that list I wouldn't know where to start. :lmao: Entertaining reading, though.

(... okay, putting Dumbo as high as #4 is where I would start.)

Okay, I'll play.... I'll guess Beauty and the Beast as #1. I don't know what they use as criteria to rank the movies, but it's a classic and it's beautifully animated.

Just checked out the list. Poor Pocahontas, she was left in the dust! That's one of my 6 yr. old son's faves. His walks around shirtless with a lacrosse stick in his hand singing... "Savages, savages..." :rotfl2: (I hope that doesn't offend anyone... he just loves Pocahontas and that song!) :goodvibes

Interesting choices.

Not the order I would have chosen (Bolt wouldnt have been in the top 20), but it's a subjective list.

Wow..that was surprising....not the order I would have thought....interesting though..thanks for sharing.

nope, not my list....tangled, b and the beast, the little mermaid, lion king are the top four (imho)

No way I'd have put their #1 at #1. Walt and the studio didn't even love it.

#6 should be #1...

And "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" is better than Tangled? Really? Ummm...

um ok yeah... not the way I would have listed... how could Home on the Range beat Robin Hood?! for that matter, I think Chicken Little was better then Home! lol
and I haven't even finished looking at it yet!

I would have to put Beauty and the Beast as #1. Otherwise as a group, the top ten is probably correct, or really close. Pocohontas should be lower than it is. Worst. Disney. Movie. Ever.

(And then they remade it as Avatar, but that's another matter.)

I never saw Home on the Range, could it really be worse than Chicken Little? Chicken Little is on my list of worst movies period, animated or not, Disney or otherwise. Hated it. The entire alien thing was sooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid and out of place.

I think "Bolt" stands out as the one that really, REALLY does not belong where it was ranked. I would probably re-order some of the top 20, but for the most part, I agree with what's in there.

And I'm not going to disagree with #1.

Sayhello

WHAT IN THE WORLD....wait maybe #50 is the worst and #1 is the best. Whew...that makes better sense. :lmao:

To each his/her own opinion, I guess.

Ummm, Tangled was Disney's 50th animated feature, so how did we get 100?

I completely agree! The score was just crappy and the animation was lacking, in my opinion. When I first read this topic, I thought the Rotten Tomatoes was something that was ranking the WORST Disney movies and I immediately thought of Pocohontas.

I thought Snow White would be number 1. Now I want to watch all of the movies in order from worst to first to see if I agree with the assessment.
