I noticed that too, but someone above reported that everyone is being held on Hollywood Blvd. No advantage whatsoever to being there early today.

The wait times were there- Smuggler's Run said 60 minute wait and everything else said 5.

I'm so glad I looked at this thread today. We'll be there tomorrow morning and were planning for an early entry, but can now sleep in a bit. I'm so sorry for everyone who got there so early for nothing - not a good way to do this. And of course, who knows if they'll continue it...

Maybe this is as close to ‘normal’ park opening where they let everyone in to a certain area until actual park opening, and then everyone rushes to the latest big ride, but instead of getting in a standby line they have to tap at the ride to get a BG (paper fastpass??). Except, now it’s a rush for the fastest phones at park opening...
