The Uber/Lyft solution for some is to take your uber to the boardwalk resort(maybe Swan too?) and walk down the path along the canal to DHS entrance.

Nah, just take it to the park. Drop off is really close to park entrance

From the past few days people have observed that the skyliner was running but just appears to be in testing mode on no guests were on it when the park opened. Seems to be the official start time for the Skyliner is 1 hour before the park opens so if you want to be there by 6:30 or so I would not expect to take the skyliner

Just keep in mind the information in this thread is good to help you plan this week and next, and then for the week of Jan 6th. The 2 holiday weeks in the middle will probably require an extra hour earlier in the morning.

What time is the parking lot at Hollywood Studios opening right now? For week of Dec 8? (Trying on the 11 to get our BG).

AoA gondola station says it starts running at 6:30. Anyone finding they are starting earlier? If we get on at 6:30 and arrive at HS by about 7 are we likely to have missed out on BG?

Again......this was in response to the person who was worried the parking lot might not be open yet, or the entrance backed up and wanted to know what the "back up plan" should be. I assume this is based upon the worry of reports from day 1 of RotR, where access to the parking lot wasn't quite ready for the early onslaught of guests.

Of course you get dropped off at the park.

Any idea what happens if you are in a boarding group that doesn’t make it by park close? We got to the park at 801 today and are on boarding group 100. In 9 hours they have only made it to group 60

Precedent is a paper Fastpass to come back another day, plus a 1-Day Park Hopper to use it on if you don't have an extra day to come back.

Just got notification of fast pass and one day park hopper pass. Was group 100 and they are only on 66 at 545 pm

Wow they are calling it early. It’s pretty clear they won’t get to 100 I guess though. Sorry for your bad luck today
