Some people are really silly with the lockers. Everyone stands in line at the lockers closest to the ride and ignores the ones behind. Or they go to the first kiosk and ignore the ones toward the back. We had very little trouble with the lockers.
I do think that they will need to add another set of lockers.
I ended up just bringing things along in my wallet and attaching it to my belt loop. It worked great.
