Well I'm back from my first Solo Trip. Let me get started:-
Cast:- Me Myself and I
Rosie the 60 year old Disney Nut and her first Solo Trip ( drum roll please)
The trip started on Feb 8th with DD getting up at 4:30 am to drop me off at the airport in Buffalo. Imeediately snagged a skycap to get my bags checked in and then off thru security ,boy I hate taking my sneakers off and then hopping out of the way as I put them back on!!I had a B boarding pass but that was ok as I was Solo as in alone by myself . Did I mention I was SOLO!!
Chatted to other Disney vacationers ( Not Dissers) till time to board. Flight went well and arrived on time. Now begins the "How do I find the Magical Express" Well I found another lost soul and we decided we'd get lost together so that was fun. We found the Express and were soon on our way.
Arrived at Pop by 11am and Voila my roomwas ready in the 50's by the lake .So quiet and peaceful. Just me myself and I ( Solo Remember )
First things first I unpacked my carryon and Decorated my window with Valentine theme .This has a duel purpose #1 I love to deccorate the window and #2 Makes finding your room really easy!!
. I head over to the Foodcourt for some lunch using of course my ddp. I will do a dining review later so we not bore you with my food
.
I hop on the bus and head for MK where I have ressies at CP for 7pm. Icheck out Tomorrowland and ride Stich I actually meant to go on Buzz but got confused
Stitch is not one of my favorites but I did it anyway. Then I rode Buzz which is a HUGE fav. I love it
Also did Carrousel of Progress for the first time pretty cute but can't compare to Buzz. I then headed for the Carrousel another 'must do'The CM chatted to me and declared I should apply for ajob as I was a Natural. He didn't say what
By this time I wondered over to CP and "Pooh" Supper there was as always great(see DR) No not an MD my dining report!!
I was in time to catch a good part of Wishes from the porch there and then headed to Main Street Station for "Spectro" I got a seat on the top of the staion and had a wonderful view . For any who haven't seen this parade make sure you add it to your mustdo's. It is awesome, the most beautiful parade in the world. This was the 2nd show and as all the experts say less crowded and leaving the park was a breeze. So that was DAY 1 .Stay tuned for more. How am I doing Jo!!!
