Rose Petal Cones...

We're having a rose petal toss after our ceremony. My mom thinks it would be tacky to have a basket with rose petals for people the grab a handful, so I am trying to find a website or diy instructions for rose petal cones. We're only expecting about 8 people at our ceremony but I will buy 30 if I have to meet a minimum of some sort.

Since you only have 8 people, why don't you make little baskets? You can go to a craft store and get tiny wicker baskets. You can paint them your colors or glue gun little bows, silk flowers, sparkles etc. Then it can be a keepsake and a personal home made touch. Just a thought . . .

im a custom but im diying our rose petal toss/staged exit (disney floral wanted $348, yikes) so im making our own cones from gold paper i bought at michaels for $9 & im ordering bags of rose petals from an online site to be delivered to our room at disney or im going to pick up some bags while in florida at publix (similiar to sams club or costco) it looks like the bags of petals will run about $50, so diy for $59.

I need some for my wedding too but I had no idea Publix carried them.
