Rose & Crown

that could be part of the problem.
And with EPCOT having more festivals (nearly year round with many food kiosks), I wonder if many of the restaurants are not as busy for lunch?
Oh I forgot the food kiosks which always have lines. I'd rather spend my money hopping along those. For us, we have steadily stopped eating TS there, other than R&C Fireworks Package I probably haven't done TS in 5 years or more. We have grabbed quick serve meal or use the kiosks. Was the day we would hop there every night for dinner but between reduced quality and lots more options across property, no more. Our time in parks is more regulated.

There are festivals almost year round now, and our family can’t be the only one who nibbles around the lagoon for lunch and then has a regular dinner. When the F&G festival was shorter, and F&W didn’t start u til fall, there was a much greater need for lunch options.
That's what we tend to do as well. And when they were doing the food and wine paring noon meals, we never had lunch at any of the restaurants.

I think it's been fairly recent. Last summer pretty sure they still had the full menu. We did the fireworks package and there was 3 or 4 appetizers and more entree options. When we repeated it in January there was only 2 appetizers and less entrees. Then it was called to my attention the main menu had been made much smaller and the package had the same exact menu.
Interesting. Maybe the package still does have those sides. As I recall Disney's site was not clear what the package included but I assumed if it wasn't on the regular menu it would not be offered in the package. I might pay the extra for those 2 sides I love (if we can snag a ressie, of course). I'm sure they'd let me swap considering the 2 sides together cost less than any 1 entree. I'll have to check it out.

The package allows for one appetizer (choice of two), one entree (choice of four) and one dessert (choice of two).

This is the Fireworks Package menu, which is the same exact as the restaurant menu except everything is priced a la carte.

Thank you. Well I guess we will have to try Spice Road. And I'll have to learn how to make Smashed Peas and Bubble and Squeak. Oh well. We did have a lot of good years at the Rose and Crrown.

We ate there (table service, not fireworks package) one night back in January and we asked for (and got) mushy peas which were not on the menu. Unfortunately to us they were somewhat disappointing. The fish and chips were spot on.

Ate there a few years ago. the entrees were awesome. The mushy peas were terrible. would never get again (now that's not a problem)

This is probably our least favorite TS. We have eaten there a couple of times giving it the benefit of the doubt, but just was consistently odd service and food mediocre.

We've gone to all the Epcot Festivals with the exception of FOTA and R&C has always been very lively at lunch so I really don't think that's the problem.

That’s because they aren’t the real kind of mushy peas we have in the UK. For some reason they purée garden peas and try to pass that off as mushy peas and it’s vile.

I have to agree. Don't think I've ever had mushy peas, but our server raved about them, so we thought we'd try them. Worst side we've ever had.
