We have ADR's there for lunch one day, simply because the lunch menu looks so much better. However, we'd prefer to be in another park during the day. Does anybody know if you can order anything on the lunch menu for dinner?

Here are the entrees for lunch:

Bangers and Mash - traditional English sausages, with braised cabbage and bacon, mashed potatoes and shallot gravy $14.99

Cottage Pie - ground beef with onions, carrots, and mushrooms, creamy mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese $17.99

English Breakfast Burger - Angus beef patty with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, fried egg and house-made HP sauce $13.99

Farmhouse Ploughman's Lunch - carved ham, cheese, roast chicken, egg, and traditional English accompaniments $17.99

Fish & Chips - Beer battered fresh fish served with house-made tartar sauce $18.99

Grilled New York Strip Steak - with seasonable vegetables, fried onion rings, green beans, mushrooms and red wine sauce $26.99

Pan-roasted Salmon - with fingerling potato salad and house-made tomato chutney $21.99

Vegetable Stone Pie - Mushrooms, onions, spinach, cheddar cheese and a side salad $14.99

Disney's website lists the Bangers and Mash, Fish and Chips, and the NY Strip on the dinner menu. The Bangers side items on the dinner menu have a slightly different description on the dinner menu, but still sound basically the same. Not sure if the menu will be the same as their website when you visit though. (The bangers were not on there when I first looked at the dinner menu a few weeks ago, but were added recently)

I got the menus from Allears which sadly, is usually updated more often than Disney's website.

What lunch item were you interested in? There are some items on both the lunch and dinner menu. Items that are unique to one menu or the other are usually unavailable during the other meal. You can always ask, but it's unlikely that you'll be able to get a lunch-only item at dinner time.

According to the menu on this site, the cottage pie is available at dinner.

Both the Allears and Wdwinfo website are a bit out of date (January 2014 and December 2013, respectively), so it might be best to ask if anyone has a picture of the current dinner menu. I'm surprised to see the Cottage Pie off of the dinner menu (per Allears), but I don't think the Burger or Ploughman's Lunch have been on the dinner menu in the past.

We were there on 4/10/14 for dinner and dh was NOT able to order the Bangers & Mash. It was only available for lunch and they wouldn't let him.

That's odd. It's not as if the ingredients aren't there. In a way, I understand. If they do it for 1 person, etc....

On the other hand, most restaurants will go out of their way for guests. And worst case, they spit in the potatoes. As long as they stir it up nice and good.

But that is the problem...once lunch service ends, the items not used for dinner are put away and the kitchen is "reset" for dinner service. So, if you wanted something that was not served at dinner, it would mean having to get the ingredients out from storage that were already put away and that would disrupt the flow of the kitchen.
