Rose & Crown Illuminations timing question

We decided to try getting an ADR for the Rose & Crown and time it for a possible Illuminations view. I called exactly 90 days out and got a 7:40 pm PS (I just can't quit calling them that!). Is this going to work out ok, or will it be too early? Do I need to just plan on drinks/appetizers....THEN order our dinner entrees...and maybe dessert to drag the time?

Can anyone offer some good advice and ease my mind?

There are no guarantees of getting a patio table, everyone wants one at that time of day and it's the luck of the draw.

Check-in 30 minutes prior to your slot and ask very nicely that if there were any way possible and that you know it's not guaranteed, but you'd be ever thankful, to have a patio table, that you and your family would love it.

The time you booked is perfect for IllumiNations viewing. We had a similar seating time and it worked out so perfectly that we were waiting on desert when IllumiNations started.

Enjoy!
