Rose and Crown

If we have a regular dining reservation at Rose and Crown not the fireworks package are we allowed to watch - obviously not from an outside table or the patio but before this became a thing we always ate there either inside or out and the whole restaurant was able to mingle and watch. We won't do the prefix package. We don't eat that much food nor do we want to pay that price for ok food. I would rather go somewhere else for food at that price. We like the pub feel.

Well inside has no view and the outside tables not used by the package are on the side with most tables having minimal view.

We have done the package a few times and the entire back patio plus the lower patio were designated for the package folks. They did not allow anyone to come in to those areas.

You can walk out and down the path to the wall, they used to rope off a small area there for restaurant folks.

If seeing the show were important to me I would book an early dinner then leave and find a good spot.

We had a regular dinner on the side patio during the fireworks. The ceiling obstructed all the good part. There was one table that may have had an okay view, but all their kids and adults were either standing or kneeling on a chair and therefore blocked out that area.
