Heading out in 13 days...thinking where shall we dine?? Haven't done Rose and Crown in ages...what's it like these days?
Tks!:thumbsup2

We will be eating at Rose and Crown in about a week. We love this resturant. We have not been in two years, but this will be our 4th+ time at R&C. We used to think that Le Cellier was the best resturant (for our tastes) in Epcot, but after our last (less than excellent) experience at Le Cellier, think that R&C is our favorite. We have never had anything but excellent food and and great experience, but our meal in Dec. 2006 was the best. We are really looking forward to eating there next week! :yay:

If you are going 'in a week', you might want to call and see where you can get ADRs at. Due to the popularity of the DDP, quite a few restaurants are fully booked months in advance.

Doesnt the free dine promo start on the 14th? You better call and get an ADR if thats the case

The question isn't where should we dine, it's where CAN we dine. You may find yourself eating at resorts and counter service. R&C may be a good bet; mid afternoon is usually not booked there too heavily, but many will be. I've seen signs at MK saying there are no available seats at any MK park or resort table service and have seen at Epcot where all park restaurants are booked. CALL NOW!

We've never had a bad meal at R&C. If you can get an ADR, go for it! :thumbsup2

We've always enjoyed Rose & Crown. Especially the potato and leek soup!

Well-you see I am not a big fan of ADR's-never know where I want and when!Have always lucked out-whether calling same day or walk up. I am however 'on hold' as I type for Disney Dining!;)

We had a last minute spur of the moment trip to WDW in August and Rose & Crown was the only place I could get a dinner reservation. I am sad to report that it was the most bland food we have ever eaten at WDW. It wasn't bad. It just didn't have any real seasoning to it. But, we are from Louisiana and we are used to spicy stuff and gravy on everything.

I love the R&C - still just as good as always and there's good beer there!
