i have ressies for this at 7oclock, do you think this is a good time to combine with the viewing of illuminations? whats the chance of getting an outside table to view them

Think its a bit early for the fireworks. We had a 8pm booking and it was fantastic watching for our seats without anyone pushing or shoving you. We will be booking next year for this time.

just changed my ressie and now have 8.15 hope this will be ok for iluminations now

When you arrive at the podium you can ask for a table on the patio, but the CMs may say you'll have to take the next available table. If you're seated inside the restaurant, let your server know you want to see IllumiNations and they'll pace your meal accordingly. Just before the show you will be taken outside to an area adjacent to the patio that is reserved for R&C diners.

We have an 8 pm ressie which worked great last time. We asked for an outside table . They told us we may hv to wait but it was only abt 15 mins and well worth it. Only problem i must hv had 2 7 ft giants standind in the dedicated viewing area but the waiter asked them to sit down. Didnt really bother me as was looking up not across

We have eaten at R & C a few times (purely to see Illuminations) and it was wonderful seated outside for the 9pm viewing but I cannot say that we have ever really enjoyed the food and have had much nicer meals at other Disney restaurants.

We have eaten at R&C twice, both times we asked for a patio table and both times we got one, we did say we didnt mind waiting a little longer for one. When we sat at our table i remember our server telling us that they would always try a little harder for a "fellow brit"
