My DH and I are planning to go out for an evening alone and I was wondering which of these places would be better. We aren't really into the gormet type thing so I'm leaning towards R&C. Any opinions??

TIA -Rachael

Both of these are great places to dine. If you do the R&C, make the PS for 7:30pm and request a patio table. If you can't get a patio table, I would recommend going to Le Cellier.

JMO, but my DW and I would choose Le Cellier. The fare at R&C is not high on our favorites list, but Le Cellier we love. My DW could live on the cheddar cheese soup, but for me, give me the beef barley any day. We love the bread and the entrees -- in fact, everything.

The only thing we don't like is that it feels a little packed if it is crowded (and when is Le Cellier not crowded?!?). It takes a little awy from the atmosphere and may not feel quite romantic, but we have a great time anyway.

Done both and much prefer Le Cellier...I'm not big on fancy food either. The prime rib french dip (lunch menu) and a bowl of the cheddar soup..mmm mmm good!! Check out the full menu of both on wdwig.com. R&C is great for fireworks watching though. Tough call.

We have enjoyed both places. DW and DD love the prime rib at R&C, while I think the pie sampler is fantastic. You might find the portions at Le Cellier smaller. Certainly the view at R&C is better if you can eat outside.

I see you are also from WI. I was not impress with the fish and chips at the R&C because beer battered fish is served every Friday around here. Just some food for thought.
