Rose and Crown & Biergarten

Do either of these places seat you with other families? We have not been to either one and want to try some new places. I will be making my ADRS in late Feb. I would love opinions on these places. We will be staying @ The BC for the first time so we want to eat in Epcot alot for the convience. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

I've been to both and enjoyed both. Biergarten gets the edge for us though as the Oompa band is SO much fun. Biergarten seeats you with another family but Rose and Crown you sit on your own.

Biergarten is really fun! Food is pretty good too. The kids loved dancing with the band!

been to both as well and they are two different types of reservations/restaurants. Biergarten is an entertainment meal in and of itself. Rose and Crown is an English pub with "different" food and an incredible atmosphere if you can get outside table for illuminations. My wife and I love R&C but my kids are not big fans of the menu. For family atmosphere, I would say your best bet is the Biergarten. Check out the menus before you go.

These are the 2 places at EPCOT I would love to eat at. From what I've read, Biegarten's seating is with others.

Fun story about R&C during Illuminations. DW and I had a perfect table on our second honeymoon on second tier. Just the two of us.. As the show was getting ready to start, I got up to move around the table to cozy in.....and I happened to look back toward the building and there was another couple with a terrible view. I walked over and told them to join us (I know, not romantic at the time but I felt sorry for their view and wanted to give them some pd as well) They joined us, drank some harp's with me and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. They were from England and were on their last night there after a 21 day stay. After the show, we walked out of there together, and they couldn't thank us enough for ending their stay with a kind gesture. Just a great 30 minutes spent with Disney folks that we will likely never meet again in our lives.

I have also been to both and enjoyed both. Rose and Crown you sit with just your family and is a very quite atmosphere. My DD's both love Biergarten and watching the show and the atmosphere is very loud and you usually sit with another family depending on the size of yours. We have enjoyed this and usually strike up conversations and learn about other people while enjoying the food and entertainment. Both have very good food but I would decide by the atmosphere you are looking for.

Both places are my two favorite sit down meals in Epcot. If you have kids I recommend Biergarten. They have more choices that a picky eater would eat, and my DD 5 really liked the band. If it's just adults you could do either and have a good time.

The Biergarten is my favorite place to eat in all of WDW. We were just there yesterday and I felt sad when we left as it was our last dinner before going home. I love the food, my picky hubby even loves eating here and we love the Oompah band.

Yes, you are seated with other families, but that is not a problem in my opinion and we are not ones to strike up conversations unless someone talks to us first...we are not rude just a bit on the shy side.

We just ate at both this month and we enjoyed R&C a lot more than Biergarten. Both were good, though. I think kids might enjoy the show and food more at Biergarten, but R&C does have that great viewing for Illuminations. We saw many families go out on their patio to watch the show.
