How has it been with Rise and standby? Has it been possible to get on using the LL passes? Any insights on what it has been like since the change in September is appreciated! We’ve never been able to ride and hope to during our December trip (December 6 at DHS).

ok, if you are not a resort guest you will have to make ILLS reservations at park opening, rather than 7. If the opening time is 9, I would be prepared to make that reservation right at 9.

What about for the Genie+ selections? I’m not sure what they are calling them (the ones that are NOT LL). Can you select your first attraction at 7? Or do you have to wait until park opening? You’ve been so helpful. Thank you!

Just to be clear, there are LL selections you can make if you purchase Genie + (like FP) and then there are the IAS (individually paid attractions). Those are not available as LL selections, ever, at all. Standby or paid only for those (ROTR and MMRR at HS). Hope this helps.

It does help. But just reading it made my head hurt. Disney did not make this process user friendly. Lol. Thank you for your reply!

For reference, yesterday was total downpour, at times torrential, all day long and the ROR standby lane was hovering between 90 mins and 110 mins all day, the weather was absolutely awful. Today the standby is at a cool 220 mins.

Last Thursday was our first venture with Genie +/Individual Attraction Selection at Hollywood Studios. We stayed at the Good Neighbor hotel near WDW, but couldn't make any selections until 9 AM.

Rise of the Resistance sold out before we could get to it. We were able to snag an individual attraction for MM Railroad. We did standby for Star Tours, Aerosmith & Slinky and Genie+ for Smuggler's Run, Toy Story and Tower of Terror. By 3:30 PM we did all the rides we wanted to do except ROR & TOT (TOT was running at half capacity due to construction?) So we bit the bullet and got on ROR standby around 3:45 PM when it said it was 130 minutes. Including the 18 minutes for the actual ride, it was total 90 minutes approximately it took us.
