Do you miss out on any special things in the queue if you skip the line with Individual Lightning Lane?

Having gone through the entire Queue twice, I wouldn't say that you missed anything earth-shattering. There are some Star Wars-style screens, there's an armory with some weapons, and another room with flight uniforms. If you want, I can PM you some pictures of some of the queue.

Used to be free and you could enter the virtual queue at 7 from anywhere. Now it’s $15 and you can only book from a Disney resort (they’re completely sold out by park opening).

We did standby several times the past few weekends - shortest wait was right after the ride came up after going down so we were able to hop in and wait about 30 mins. Second shortest was hopping in line at a 110 minute wait but off the ride in 70. Longest wait was about 1hr 15mins with a posted 220 min wait. I think the wait times are inflated but also it’s WORTH the wait so if you don’t want to spend the $ for a LL or they’re sold out Standby is absolutely a valid option.

It's 8:45am and there are no ILLs left and the park has not even opened yet. Has this been the trend? If so, I am going to be there mid March and off site, so should I assume that the only way I am riding this is by standby only?

How are you able to see that? I was told (by a phone CM—I know…) that it was normal that i can’t see it in the app until day-of. If that’s not true, I may need to fix something ASAP.

I just go to the tip board and it shows a time (earliest??) available for purchase. Today it said unavailable at 8:45 for ROTR. I supposed it could have been down?

Ahhh I see now!! I thought it was on My Day. And when I’d played with the Tip Board, I’d never scrolled down far enough to see any of the paid ones. I guess I thought they’d be grouped together at the top. Thank you!!

But I'm not sure if it shows earliest time for the ILL$...can someone confirm? Because if you actually have tix/reservations I believe you can choose from available times...

I only saw standby and LL a few weeks ago. There was single for Smugglers Run.

To summarize, RotR is only available by standby or, paying for Individual Attraction LL access.

Since you are pro, I have a question for you. Have you or anyone you know had any success riding ROTR twice in one day. For instance, doing stand by first thing in the AM with EMH and also getting a paid lighting lane?

Yes, some have done this.
