Rope Droppers and PPO ADRs

I have an 8 am BOG reservation and I am not an early riser. I will get there on time but not without a lot of work on my end. My question is, what time do the rope droppers start arriving? I would imagine security is not that hard to get through (time consuming) that early but I want to be sure I allow enough time. Also for MK, best to take the bus, I would imagine. Thanks!

You stated what time your ADR is, but you didn't tell us what time the park opens. If the park opens at 9:00, and you arrive by 7:40 for your ADR, you will be almost all alone. You can count on one hand the number of people who will arrive at 7:45 for a 9:00 opening. If the park opens at 8:00, then there will be a few thousand people at RD at 7:45. And yes, the bus is always the best option for getting to the MK unless you are staying at a monorail resort, Wilderness Lodge, or Fort Wilderness, at which point boat launches are an option, (and walking is an option from the Contemporary).
