Hi all - trying to do some very advanced planning (as usual) and I was wondering - how long before rope drop should we arrive at the park?
Trying to figure out wake up times, etc. (I know I am an over planner but it makes me less jittery, lol)

Thanks!

It all depends on when you go. We go in October and other than at DHS (where we get a pre-opening ADR), we tend to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to park opening. This does put us in the back of the pack of the RD crowd, but it's never been an issue.

Great thanks! Can I ask if there is a reason you get a pre-opening ADR at DHS or do you just like it?

The short answer is because we're crazy. LOL.

The long answer is because we like to ensure with 100% certainty that we're going to get a spot at Jedi Training. We ask for the check as soon as we sit down and then we scurry out of the restaurant no later than 8:35 and go over to Jedi signups. It's totally not necessary at all and we could just as easily get a Jedi spot by arriving at DHS early and just waiting outside, but the kids like the Disney Junior characters (especially Jake!) and if we're going to be there that early anyway, I'd rather be sitting down and eating breakfast than just standing at a gate.

haha - that makes perfect sense to me - doesn't sound crazy at all - of course I am planning wake-up times for December in August - so I am not sure I am the best to judge that, lol :rotfl2:

lol, twice, DH has taken the boys to the "bathroom", left Play n' Dine, went and signed up for Jedi training, and made it back to the resturant in under 7 mins.
