We arrive Saturday evening and will go to the park for just a few hours to meet Mickey, ride Peter Pan, and 7 Dwarves Mine Train.

On Sunday, MK opens at 8. We will get there around 7:45. We have FP later in the day for 7DMT (11:35), Anna and Elsa (6 pm) and Enchanted Tales with Belle (7pm). We will also go to the Fireworks Dessert Party that night. Fireworks at 10, so we should arrive to the dessert party around 9, right?

Anyway, we will rope drop that morning and then leave to go rest around noon. We'll arrive back at the park around 6pm.

I'm trying to decide if, at rope drop, we should hit the Frontierland side of the park or the Tomorrowland side of the park to get more done?

I think that really depends on which things are your highest priorities. On the Frontierland side you would be able to hit Splash and BTMRR, JC, HM, and POC with the shortest waits of the day. On the other side you have Space Mountain, Buzz, the Speedway, and the Fantasyland rides.
