On a 9AM opening day, if we rope drop Jungle Cruise followed by Pirates of Caribbean what time should we expect to be done? Trying to figure out if we can do the two and make a 9-10 AM fast pass at BTR.

you should be fine. if JC gets delayed and pirates has a long queue you may have to skip pirates but that's unlikely. most folks are rushing for a mountain at rope drop.

Each ride takes approximately 15 minutes including walking to Adventureland and through each of the queues so expect to be done 9:30 -9:40 am. There will be no problem making BTMRR by 10 am.

FYI - Remember you do have a 15 min grace period after your FP time until 10:15 am as well.

If you go directly to JC at RD, it should be nearly walk on. The ride is about 10 minutes. YOu should be at pirates by 9:20
By the time you are off, the line at pirates still should not be too long. The ride is about 8 minutes, so even if there is a 15 minute wait, you should be done by 9:45 or earlier.
You also have a 15 minute grace time for the FP, so you should be good with the 9-10 BTMRR FP.

We did the exact same thing in February. Our first fastpass was for BTMRR at 9:15am and we got there right around 9:45am. We were on the second boat for Jungle Cruise and had maybe a 5 minute wait for Pirates. We were debating on trying to do Splash first but were worried about missing our fastpass for BTMRR. Looking back I wish we did because when we got off BTMRR the Splash line was much longer. I think we could have been off by 10:15am.

Good plan. We do that a lot as we head to a FP at Splash and then get in the Stand Bye for Big Thunder

Thanks for the replies. I felt this would be easy to do but needed reassurance. Like so many others, we almost always rope drop to Space Mountain and tomorrow land.

We rode pirates 3 times at RD over Spring Break—my husband and daughter love it. I think we waited 5-10 min for our third ride

I would do JC first then if you have time POTC you should be able to do both. In 30- 45 minutes

I usually go this way at park open, and honestly you may not need that BTMRR FP at that time. I've done JC, POTC, BTMRR x2, and Splash all with practically no waits at that time of the morning. The line for BTMRR is building after the first ride, but not that quickly. Of course, it does burn one so you can try for more later. I'm the type who usually schedules my FP a bit later.

This sounds like a good idea to me and you should be able to make your FP+ with no issues. On the days I have rope dropped Adventureland there have been very, very few people heading in that direction.
