Rope drop HS from boardwalk on 10k morning

Looking to rope drop HS and the morning of the Springtime Surprise 10k next weekend. Staying at the boardwalk.
Will the walking path be open at 7:30?
Would we better off using boat transportation?

the path will be open Saturday on 10K day, but not Sunday for the 10 mile as it is part of the course.

OP was asking if the walking path would be open as it’s a marathon weekend and on marathon weekends that path is sometimes closed as it’s part of the marathon course.

The weekend op is there the path is open to guests Saturday but Sunday it is closed as it will be used by the runners.
