Rope Drop from Pop Century

I haven't stayed on property in years and rarely used the transportation and I hope to relax (ha) and not do any driving. What bus should we get from PC to get the MK rope drop? I need to factor in the ride, security, activating our AP and buying TiW.

Get aboard the Magic Kingdom bus.
Be at your bus stop 75 min. before the posted opening time.
(That will include some time to get the APs activated.)

If you will be at WDW the previous day, I'd go to Disney Springs and activate the APs
one day early.

Would you still pla 75 mins before opening time if you have all your passes,etc. also would 75 be the standard for all parks?

If you already had activated APs I would still allow 60 minutes. You don't know when the bus will get there, nor how long bag check lines will be. One day this past late April I spent 30 minutes in the bag check line at MK. Plus if you want to see the morning show it starts about 15 minutes before park opening.

I always go one hour before park oping sometimes 70 minutes and by the time I get in there is normally just 10 to 15 minutes minutes before park opening now if you want to be infant of the top drop crowds then I would leave another 30 minutes early

Hi OP! I always stay at Pop and have rope dropped for MK many times. Like others have said be ready/go about an hour before the opening since bus lines get long. Especially since you also have to do things like security and stuff, hope this helps!
