I am staying off site and plan to do MK at rope drop, hit fantasyland but what rides do I visit after that that won't have long waits?

Thanks for any advice.

Doing Fantasyland at Rope Drop should take you a couple hours. Around 11:00 when you'd finish the rides without long waits would be:

clockwise from Adventureland:
Tiki Birds
Magic Carpets
Country Bears
Riverboat
Hall of Presidents
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Carousel of Progress
Stich

What other rides "won't have long lines" is not really the point.
You want to ride the "most popular" attractions as early after rope drop as possible... before the late-sleepers arrive for the day.

After Rope Drop, head for the most popular attractions (not necessarily just Fantasyland)
in an order that makes sense to your ability to walk from location-to-location.

I think I might need to know more about you in order to properly give advice. Since I don't have children, I'm usually one of the late sleepers, so I'm rarely there at rope drop. However, that being said, if I did have children and planned to be there at rope drop my plans would be as follows, after hitting the New Fantasyland stuff:

-Teacups
-Prince Charming's Carousel
-Peter Pan's Flight
-Haunted Mansion
-Splash Mountain
-PotC

I usually save Tomorrowland for after lunch, since lunch is usually QS at the Lunching Pad/Auntie Gravity's.

This. You don't want to exhaust Fantasyland before heading off to other, crowded attractions. Definitely leave Tea Cups, Carousel, Small World, Philharmagic and Pooh (unless it is a really crowded day) for later. Also, try to use a FP for ETWB. Rope Drop is used most effectively when you do a bunch of "short" rides before the crowd kicks in. If you go to ETWB during the early "RD Effect", by the time your show is over, you will have lost much of your advantage. So I would do Peter Pan and Barnstormer early, and maybe a meet and greet if you plan to, and then head to major attractions like the Mountains, Buzz, Jungle Cruise and Pirates.

I think it depends a lot on your family and your plan for the day. Our kids are 7, 7, 3 & 2 so we usually plan at least 2 days for MK so our two toddlers can ride everything during the day, then the older kids and I ride more things and repeat rides at night. Here's what we do:

MK1 morning - CP or CRT, Fantasyland, lunch, Tomorrowland (minus Space Mountain), return to room around 2pm

MK1 evening with 7yos - QS dinner, Space Mountain/Buzz, Liberty, Frontierland, Adventureland, parade, fireworks

MK2 morning - CP or CRT, Fantasyland, Liberty, lunch, Frontierland, Adventureland, return to room around 2pm

MK2 evening with 7yos - QS dinner, kids pick (usually mountains, some Fantasyland, Haunted Mansion, POTC, Jungle Cruise, Buzz), fireworks

Sorry I didn't give much more info.!

Two adults. Rides we would like to do:

Peter pan
Winnie the pooh
Little mermaid
Dumbo
Barnstormer
Haunted mansion
Hall of presidents
Tiki room
Carousel of progress
Space
Splash
Buzz
Pirates
Jungle
Philarmagic

Any idea what order?
Was thinking of doing all those five rides in fantasyland, then going to do haunted mansion then do jungle and pirates.

After that do I go back to do splash and big thunder then to tomorrow land in the late afternoon?

Also what you would get the three fast passes for?

When it gets busy then do hall of presidents, country bear, etc.

a. Peter pan - FP or ride very early
Space fastpass or ride very early
Splash fastpass or ride very early

You get three FP picks, (and at least one ride to ride early) so either do those three as your FP's OR pick two of those (for FP)and make one of the b-list as your third FP.

B.Winnie the pooh
Little mermaid
Dumbo
Haunted mansion
Buzz
Pirates - gets busy in afternoon
Jungle

c.Barnstormer
Hall of presidents
Tiki room - no long lines, but usually closes near dusk
Carousel of progress
Philarmagic

The C rides generally have short(er) waits all day. BUT....Know that HoP only runs during certain times of day- and I think only once every half hour. Similarly, CoP and Tiki never get long waits, but guests can only enter, I think, about every 15minutes or so.

Another very important factor is the evening slack off. You may wish to consider more than JUSt the way crowds build in the morning, but also how they drop off at night. Late at night, much of you list will have relatively short waits. Late night is the perfect time to ride Pirates. Buzz, haunted Mansion, and BTMRR.

It also matters how much endurance you have, weather, crowds, etc. Not just how long the lines are. So beyond your total list, consider which attractions are your top priorities. If it is pouring rain all day are you going to tough it out no matter what? Or are you going to take things off your list? Is minimizing walking your top priority, or minimizing how long you are in line? often enough it pays to zig zag across the park a little. It also pays to hold off eating lunch until 1:30pm.

We often skip HoP not because it is a bad show, but because it only runs every half hour- and I just don't want to wait twenty minutes to go in the show. Beyond that, the show kind of puts us to sleep...so when we do see it, we usually follow the show up by leaving MK.

Splash is a bit of an unknown. It is a flume ride. Sometimes guests get rather damp.

To make a quick explanation...your log drops into water, but more importantly the ride has water cannons. Sometimes it is pure luck who gets wet, other times they turn off the water cannons. (If you ride Kali at AK, though someone will get DRENCHED!)

so getting wet is an important factor for Splash. MOST guests prefer to ride it in the afternoon. Morning lines are short, but you may not WANT to get soaking wet first thing in the morning. then again, getting wet late at night can be happy, or unpleasant as well. If it is cold, or you are wearing jeans getting wet can be less fun. If it is a sunny day, getting wet may be just the thing!

Again, a big unknown is weather. There is a big difference between spring plans, summer plans, and winter weather plans.

Lots of folks start with Fantasyland, which is why I personally don't usually start there. No matter what - Pan is almost always the longest line in the park. It is worse than the mountains. so if you don't start there, FP it.

So there's much more to your answer than just where to start. Another factor is where you want to eat your meals.

There is not one hard answer to your question. Just more or less factors to consider. Truly, you won't really know the answer until you are there.

Do the Indy Speeedway next.

Those lines are miserable in the Florida heat. Either do this ride in the early morning or after dark.

. Do you have little kids? Are you trying to do ALL rides during your visit. Our last trip DD was 4 and DS was 2. We skipped the mountains since both kids were not tall enough. We only did rides the kids could ride . We started in fantasyland then headed to tomorrow land. And we hit all parades since that's what our kids liked. We also took afternoon breaks. We also did multiple days at MK.
