Rope drop characters

Can anyone tell me what characters, if any, are in the Adventureland, Frontierland or Liberty Square area at rope drop? One of out MK days we are going to rope drop Splash, but we have 2 adults and 2 toddlers that won't be going with us. We were going to meet at Haunted Mansion next and I was hoping there would be some meet and greets they could do with the little ones. Are Aladdin and Jasmine, Tiana or Chip and Dale out that early? Thanks in advance

Character meet and greets vary, day to day, and sometimes week to week. As you enter MK pick up a daily aciivities sheet -- they will be listed for the day. Then you can text or call the rest of your party about where to eet up.

Minnie and Pluto meet in Town Square very close to open. This opening meet is the only time/place to meet Minnie in her polka dot dress as she switches with Marie after 10.

Aladdin/Jasmine generally come out about 9:30
Tiana about 9:15
Chip + Dale about 9:15
Mickey and Tink are also available to meet at rope drop

Just know that the first meet seems to be the most susceptible to missed or late meets.

Thanks! Sounds like there could be a few options so I'm sure something will work out. I know back in Nov '14 when we went they did the Marie meet and greet when we went to the mine train at rope drop. We have a little princess in our group that would love to see Tiana so fingers crossed that they can at rope drop with lower crowds. We missed her and Jasmine last trip. I think we are going to see Mickey at Epcot. Mickey at Town Square was the longest line we stood in on our whole trip last time. We went at night though. There are too many other places we want to be in the mornings or other FPs we want at MK.

We rope dropped Adventureland on a Sun. last month, and while Aladdin and Jasmine were not out right away, we saw them after walk on rides on the Jungle Cruise and Pirates (so probably around 9:30 a.m., as previously mentioned).

Early in the start of the meet, there was absolutely no line. We went on the carpets, and I watched them just standing in their spot, waiting for someone to come along.

Maybe the group with the toddlers could ride the Jungle Cruise and/or the carpets while waiting for Aladdin and Jasmine to come out.

Tiana has short waits most of the morning, and she meets with Naveen after the parade. It's a longer wait, but definitely worth it if you can find the time.

Jasmine also meets at Epcot. The line for her and Aladdin tends to fill up in MK, so if she's a priority I would try to get her first, though it might mess with the RD plan since it's out of the way from Splash/HM and they don't meet until 9:30

I think Tiana is what they will try for. We didn't make characters a big priority last time. We just kind of did the meet and greet when we walk up on them. Both times we got in line for Aladdin/Jasmine they closed the line and we left. It took us a few minutes to find them the first time. They were tucked in the back pretty good! We are going to loosely follow one of easywdw's cheat sheets that day so hopefully we will both be done around the same time. I have never went to Adventureland or Frontierland at rope drop before and wasn't sure if anyone would be out that early. Thanks for all the info!

Rafiki is in Adventureland very close to rope drop. He meets in a covered area just past the bridge (basically across from the Swiss Family Treehouse). Merida is an option too, but I don't think she meets until 9:30.

Merida arrives at 9:15am and would be very important at rope drop.
