Rope Drop at EPCOT from BWV

do i have to go to teh front of the park for rope drop or can i go through International gateway? staying at BWV for first time and im pretty pumped about it

You can go through International Gateway. We did this during the Flower show and got some really great pics with no crowd in them

You do not have to go to front of EPCOT for rope drop. In fact, you can't go to the front of EPCOT for the rope drop through the International Gateway. They have a rope across the pathways just before the top of the hill and the bridge to France and walkway to Great Britain. They will hold you there until opening time. Then you have to walk to Future World. There is no opening show at the International Gateway rope drop.

If you are looking for the rope drop experience (the show), you'll need to drive or take a cab to the front of the park - since there is no transportation to the front of the park from BWV (I suppose you could take a really early bus to the MK then the early monorail back to Epcot if you don't have a car and are looking to avoid paying for a cab - that's a lot of time invested for the rope drop show though).

The distance to Soarin' is larger than what you'd get if you were actually at the front gate rope drop, so you have a slight disadvantage over those booking to Soarin and Test Track. But since they moved up from the IG into Great Britain, it isn't much of a disadvantage.
