Rope Drop at AK

If you are going to Everest instead of Pandora do they rope drop over in that area? Do they not rope drop in front of the Tree of Life anymore?

Have them moved the Rope Drop area?
They USED to hold guests at the far end, lower end (west end) of that bridge for the rope drop.

When we rope dropped AK a couple weeks ago (prior to Pandora opening). It was AM EMH. On site guests directed to the left path and off site sent to the right and had to hold where the map says "to/from front gates"

We have a breakfast at Tusker House at 8:35. If we get seated early and if we eat fast, will we be allowed to walk to Pandora to get in line for FOP before the RD crowed?
Was thinking about getting in line for FOP and FP Na'vi River, since you are not allowed to FP both.

Obviously, (regardless of your reservation time) you will want to try to be seated as close to restaurant opening time as they will allow.
(Ask for your restaurant bill as soon as you are seated.(

This will also mean that you want to get to the DAK gates by 7:30-7:40AM.

The success of these kind of plans is determined by a lot of things that must
fall into place on the day that you are there.
Sometimes they all work.
Sometimes, not so much.

I went on Saturday (Pandora official opening day). EMH was at 7. There was a line just for people going to Pandora. And there were 12 of us waiting at the rope for Dinoland/Asia. I have no idea where the non-resort guests were waiting. Starbucks was open just beyond the entrance to pandora, but I doubt they dropped the rope by Africa because safaris don't open for morning EMH.

And when I was there in February, rope drop was out near the tree of life too. They released some birds as a sort of welcome show.

Just make sure everything related to your meal payment, like any
paperwork and/or MB scans, and the tip, etc. are settled near the start of the meal, not after it.
