Rope drop and disney transportation question

I received a pin code today which would allow us to stay on site at disney world and receive the quick service dining plan free. If we stay at the all star music resort and do not have a rental car, how likely is it that we will make it to the parks for rope drop using the disney transportation system? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

As long as you can get yourself out of bed early enough, I'd say 100%. If the parks open at 9:00am I generally want to be down at the bus stop at least 45-60 minutes prior. Normally buses run every 15-20 min so if you just missed one you'd have to wait the full 20 min. Then it generally takes about 15-20 min to get to the park. Just give yourself enough time. You'll get there easily.

We have never rented a car and typically make it to each park for rope drop. We head out for the bus about 45 minutes before the park we are going to opens. We stay at Pop.

We made it to rope drop no problem from Pop at MK....don't miss it, it's so worth being there!!

Thank you so much for your responses. This is our first trip to Disney World and I would hate to miss rope drop due to not having a vehicle.

We stayed at All Star Music in November and made it to rope drop every day that we wanted to, all while using only Disney transportation. You will have no trouble at all. Enjoy your trip!

The buses begin running 2 hours before the offical park openings!

Get to the bus platform early.

If you get there only 45 minutes in advance expecting to arrive at the park 15 minutes in advance, you might find a long line and the first bus you see gets full and cannot take you. Then the bus you finally get on arrives a little after rope drop.
