Does anybody know if you can get root beer anywhere in england? i absolutely loved it when i tried it at disney board walk! we have been home nearly two weeks from our first trip to WDW it was the best holiday of my life

I get my rootbeer fix on americansweets.com. It's not cheap but it's the real deal and cheaper than the £2 a can they sell in a shop close by. Yummmm

Our Asda sells it in cans. Pack of 6. Kind of has an American flag design on packaging. Hope it's available near you!

I quite agree - I bought it at McDonald's when they first came to UK thinking I was buying ginger beer.

I assume it is no longer available at McD's as I haven't tried to buy it there since the 1980s.

you can get barqs root beer the proper stuff that they do in WDW from american soda online, reasonable price and efficient service the asda stuff is horrid and nothing like barqs, we buy in bulk and limit ourself to one can on our saturday night family night!!

mountain dew is also available in Uk now. we used have to bring it back for our son but he has found somewhere to buy it here, will post when i find out where.

Thanks everyone Ive been craveing it since we came home I do agree the first time i tasted it i thought it was strange but by the second i was hooked Ahh the taste of america

I hate it but you can get Root Beer in my local Aldi, maybe try yours? I agree it tastes like Listerine though. I thought Root Beer was bad but then in Italy I tried something that was in a can like Sprite but came out emerald green coloured (I thought it was absinthe or something) and it tasted like Toilet Duck. To this day I have no idea what the heck it was. OT I also tried some " special on the house chocolate cake" in an Indian Restaurant in Venice and left stoned ; stoned for the first (and only time) in my life in a city built on water. Not fun .
