Hello All. I am new to this sight and to DCL and I could really use your help booking our first Disney Cruise (so excited)!!! We are wanting to go on the 7 day eastern cruise.

I have heard that there are secret rooms with windows that have only a partial view, but you do not pay for a room with a window. Is true? If it is, can someone please tell me what the room numbers are so that I can see if they are still available for the dates I have chosen?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes to your question. They are called secret porthole rooms...although they are not very secret anymore. The room numbers are: 5020, 5022, 5024, 5520, 5522, & 5524. They are considered cat. 10 rooms, but you get a porthole with a partial view. I hope this helps.

They are referred to "secret porthole" rooms here on the DIS. They are booked at a Category 10 rate, but are basically Category 8's, since they are located on Deck 5. They are rooms 5520, 5522, 5524, 5020, 5022, and 5024. They book VERY far in advance, so unless you're looking at a 2005 cruise, most likely they'll be sold out.

Thank you so much for the info disney3144 & jel0511. I am off to see if I can book two of the rooms.

I was aiming for 8/04, so I am really really keeping my fingers crossed.

missann...which week were you looking to sail in 8/04. We are going on the 8/21/04 Eastern that has a stop at San Juan.
