HI everyone.. This is addicting!!
I have an existing reservation in June of 2008 for an All star Music family suite for 8 nights. My brother and I are taking our two teen aged nephews. WEll I just cant leave well enough alone. I'm really excited about the room but have decided to do a split stay for 4 of the 8 nights and stay deluxe!
It's really my choice since I'm the only one who really cares..LOL;) My brother has not been there before so I get to do the planning unemcumbered and make all the choices!!:yay:
I'm now wondering which deluxe has a day bed? My nephews can share a bed but I'm not into sharing with my brother. I love him but I dont' want to cuddle with him!:rotfl:
I'm thinking that the rooms at the Poly are large and i read that they have day beds.. WL sounds a bit tight in space. I stayed there years ago.. loved it but not this trip.
Contemporary perhaps? Do the Yacht or Beach club have day beds?
This is, as I have said my decision... there are pros and cons for each choice.. location vs SAB.. etc.
Any ideas???

I love planning.. it's at least half the fun if not more:dance3:
Thanks!!
Liz

From my experience; Poly, BC, YC and CR all have day beds in all or most of the rooms. Some Boardwalk rooms do too. Your best bet would be Poly or CR as I think all the rooms have daybeds. You should definitely make sure you put that in your room request if staying at YC/BC or BW.

All the Poly and CR rooms have all been recently renovated and are very large rooms. Location for YC/BC is the top pro for them along with SAB and dinning options. It just depends on which resort you want to try, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Hi! We have had daybeds in our rooms at the CR, Poly, and YC. I thought it was ok for a nap, but I definitely couldn't sleep on it all night. It was comfortable, but I'm a "belly sleeper" and I turn over in my sleep, so it was a bit narrow for me.

My 12 y/o DS slept on it almost every night, but I wouldn't plan on him doing it now (he's 14 and 6ft tall!).

My opinion is that if you're on the small side and don't twist and turn much during the night you could probably manage it. It just didn't work for me because of sleeping habits.

YC is our absolute favorite resort. I think the location is great for teen boys. Ours seemed to enjoy the theme of the hotel. They loved SAB and being able to walk around the Boardwalk at night. YC is always the first hotel they mention staying at when we start planning a WDW trip!!!

The rooms at YC are large as well. The balconies give you some extra space (which you'll definitely need with teen boys!;) ). I thought we had plenty of closet/drawer space and I liked the bathroom layout.
