Rooms to avoid OKW/BCV/OKW

Small bit of advice....

Every room is great! Others will possibly disagree. Don't worry too much about your room location, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment if you don't get exactly what you wanted.

You're in Disneyworld! Have fun, enjoy your time!

It all boils down to what you make of your time. The only time I would concern myself with room assignment/location is if you plan on spending more time in your room than experiencing all the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

Don't obsess about individual rooms. If the rooms in general weren't good enough, there wouldn't be 70,000+ DVC members.

I do know that there is only one studio at VWL without a balcony, unfortunately I can't remember the number but it's on the fourth floor. Also, at VWL, there's the unpleasant "dumpster view". Again, unfortunately I don't remember the room number but it's about 4556, I think. Fortunately, I haven't heard of a bad room at either of the other 2 places, at least as far as studios. Just be aware that some of the studios at OKW are blocked by trees, not that that's necessarily bad (DH thought it was kind of neat and private-suggested that it was so private I could run around on the balcony in my birthday suit-didn't try it though, just in case!)

I agree with DVC nut. Don't obsess about your room, you are just setting your selfup to be disappointed when you don't get what you want. It is at Disney World, it's not like your room got moved to Iraq!

The studios at OKW do tend to have very limited views. Almost all of the one's I have been in have lots of trees which means you don't have golf course or water view. (Although on my last stay I saw lots of golfers in my trees!)

some of the studios on the first floor at right next to the air-conditioning units at OKW - but this would be problem only on the first floor.

here is the bad studio at VWL - some people have say that on the first floor this unit is not bad - because WDW is trying to grown something around it.

I haven't found any bad views at BCV - but then I have only stayed there once! You can ask for a Epcot view and as high up as possible and see what you get!
