I am curiouse if anyone knows what rooms for sure sleep 4. And has anyone ever stayed in 6634 or the inside 6635. My sis-in-law are thinking of booking these 2( or similier) We thought if one of us gets and outside and then one of us will get an inside directly across the hall that way we all can still use a verenda if we want. Any suggestions would help. She needs a room for 4 and I need for 3, so any help which would be best would help us a lot. Thanks, I knew I would be able to get answers here!!!! I love these boards.

We did the same this July. My mother & sister stayed in 6544 and we were accross the hall 6547. There were four in our room. The inside rooms do not have the double bath. It was very crowded. My boys are 16 & 18 so there clothes are just as big as ours. There was not enough room for all our clothes. But we managed. I felt forry for our room steward. I had piles of clothes everywhere.

You are hardly in the room any way. The worst part was dressing in the morning if we had early excusions and for dinner. But its woth saving the money.

according the the passporter both of those rooms sleep 3.

We stayed in 6134 & 6135 on our last cruise and loved it.

The way the bathroom is laid out depends on what catagory you are, not inside vs outside. Cat 10 and above have split bathrooms. Cat 11 and 12 do not

Our friend and TA told us to go Port side, as that is the side that faces the Port (of course, why would they call it "port" and we have a boat- guess I am slow on the uptake!) if we wanted to see the islands from our cabin.

If you have no windows or no preferred view I don't think it matters.

Actually it really depends on where you dock. At Costa Maya, Castaway Cay and Cozumel, the port side was toward the pier, however at Port Canaveral, its the Starboard side. At Nassau it varies.

Call Disney and ask them how many the rooms hold. YOu can't go by what the passporter says, they have all the room capacities all screwed up!

For some reason we went in head first to CC in May. We had a starboard room and I was not expecting to see the pier at CC from our verandah! It was cool.

I just came back from Aug 28 2004.. we had inside 6045 and 6043
and they both slpet 4.. the two twins went to a queen.. the couch folded down and the top come down from teh ceiling... good luck.

I have a TA guidebook that lists which rooms are "sleep 4". If it indeed is correct, then on deck 6 the following are "sleep 4" :
6006, 6008, 6016,6024,6028,6030,6036,6106,6114,6122,6037,6039,
6041,6043,6044,6045,6047,6506,6508,6516,6524,6528,6530,
6537,6539,6541,6543,6544,6545,6547,6606,6614,6622.

This was from a '98-'99 travel agency book.

We have 6548 for our upcoming Eastern, and I thought it slept 4 b/c it has a pull down bed. We are only a party of 3, but we requested that room b/c DS likes to sleep up top.

I don't see it on your list. Any idea why?

Hi Piper......
I checked again and my guidebook doesn't show it as a "sleep 4". I wonder if the Magic and Wonder are different in where their "sleep 4" cabins are ?
My TA guidebook says: "1998-1999 Vacations" and "now introducing our newest ship the Disney Wonder". Both the Magic and Wonder are listed in the book, but now this has got me thinking that 1) your specific room#6548 was inadvertantly ommitted in this book 2) that perhaps the Wonder and Magic do not have the same sleep 4 cabin locations ?
I apologize for the confusion but I'm not sure what to think. Have you specifically confirmed that 6548 is a "sleep 4" ? I know DCL and DVC made a big mistake about this for our 2002 cruise. We ended up getting upgraded from a cat 6 to a cat 5 that did indeed sleep 4. Ended up with a huge H/A room (7638). Just another thought that perhaps you were given the wrong info  I'd be interested to hear if you find out or maybe someone else has had your specific room and can tell us.

Thanks Maria,

DCL is closed now, but I will call tomorrow and double check our cabin. When we booked this cruise (on board back in Feb), Danielle searched for a cabin with a pull-down bed. It took her a while, but she found this cabin. I understand all the Cat 6's with pull down beds sleep 4.

I will let you know what DCL has to say.

This is what I'd think too Piper ? I hope it is for your sake. Thanks for letting me know when you find out

I just called DCL, and confirmed that Cabin #6548 sleeps 4 with a pull down bed! That is not a do-or-die thing for us, but DS 7 gets a trill out of sleeping up top, so I am glad the room has it. Plus, we can still sit on the couch while he is up there watching TV.

FYI, We have already booked for Jan '06, and could not get a room with a pull down bed. DU says that DCL is enforcing the rule that a party of 3 is booked in a room that holds 3, freeing up the other CAT 6's for parties of 4. So, we probably got lucky.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Piper ! Glad u got a "sleep 4".
What happend to us in 2002 was this. I booked our 11/02 cruise in 12/01. Used DVC points so had to book via Member Services at DVC. We had 6 people and wanted 2 cabins. I booked a cat 11 for my mil and ds and booked a cat 6 for myself, dh, and 2 dd's. I specified I "needed" a sleep 4 for our cat 6. We wanted the girls in with us. Well, when we got our docs, we noticed they had our family of 6 split 3 and 3 in each cabin. I called back (it's now 3 weeks before we cruise) and confirmed that we did indeed have a "sleep 4" for the cat 6. Both DVC and DCL SWORE up and down, that "yes, it was a sleep4". Someone on these boards told me I better triple check. I called back again about 10 days prior to cruising and guess what. They goofed. Our cat 6 was indeed a "sleep 3". This was after I supposedly confirmed 2-3 times. We ended up getting an upgrade because they were wrong the whole time. I got a big apology from DVC/DCL. So, I'm just saying sometimes I don't think they know what they're talking about. Had I not persevered and questioned them so many times, I would have gotten there and had a royal dilemma ! I hope, for your sake, that they have their facts straight and my book is just wrong. Thanks for getting back to me:wave2:

Wow Maria, what a mess!

As I said, it is not a do-or-die for us. However, we are looking forward to it so I hope the CM was correct.

I've never seen that mentioned before! Does that happen a lot? I was under the impression that you could choose your room #.
