Rooms at Boardwalk

We've never gotten to stay at BWI before, so I'm super excited! Thought about putting in a request for a room, but it looks to be a fairly small resort? What is the layout like? Is there a better section to be in than another? Thoughts? Suggestions???

We love the Boardwalk Inn! It is such a pretty resort. What view did you get? One of my favorite requests with a standard view room is to ask for a high floor with an Epcot view! You can see the Eifel Tower and high Illuminations! fireworks from your balcony! The quiet pool on the Inn side is surrounded by lovely gardens. Enjoy your stay!

We just got a standard room! We are going to have the online checkin available tomorrow, so I wanted to request something if possible! Thank you for the recommendation! Do you request with online check-in, when you get to the hotel, or do you call? I know they are all 'requests' but I've found WDW to be very helpful with requests!
