Hey everyone.

This thread is for posting any funny, good, bad, etc. experiences with Roommates at the DCP that you would like to share.

Let's see...

ok so i had three roomates... two turned out to be my best friends... the other as you can guess turned into a disaster...

ok so the first 3rd roommate was deported.... she never showered, never cleaned anything, and was the loudest person ever.

when we finally got a replacement, i had to head home because my grampy had passed away from his battle with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I was an absolute wreck, and still upset when I got back. I get back to meet this new girl, and after not working for nearly two weeks (snow storm in new england), I see that my food is missing. ALL OF IT. So I talk to my roomates that I love, and asked them if they had any food... they had none. So I hadn't even met this girl, had no money to go get new food, and she had eaten all my food. So I confront her about it and SHE LIES to my face saying she never ate it. We found wrapers and pasta of mine in the sink and in her room... it was obvious.

So when I finally have money to go get new food, I get it and realize that my milk is diminishing much quicker than it should be. I decide to make hash marks on the bottle so that I would know they were there, and she would not.... WELL... by the time the milk was gone, I had consumed about 2 cups...confronted her about it... and she denied it again.

I guess maybe I could see if this girl had no money... but her dad owned 5 McDonald's in Chicago, and was loaded. The worst part is that I hadn't even met her yet, was home for a funeral, and she ate my food. She was absolute filth... she also thought it was ok to watch my TV when I was at work, and then act like I left it on when I'd come in and catch her....

It was all hilarious though.. and all ok because I ended up with two amazing best friends... so it's something we laugh about a lot.

Wow what a rude roommate.

I love hearing stories though. I've never had roommates before so I don't really know what to expect for the Disney College Program.

so, this is totally random and has nothing to do with the story but are you by any chance from maine?? i only ask because i called my mom's dad grampy and i have never heard of anyone else who calls their grandfather that except for other people from maine.

Hmm, let's see.
1) I found this funny: my first CP, all 4 of us were from NJ, and it was not planned! 3 of us were in merchandise too (the 4th was in custodial).

2) I absolutely loved my roomies my second CP. Again, 3 of us were in the same role (character attendant) and we were in training together and everything (the 4th roomie was in attractions at EE). I still speak to my roomies all the time.

3) This doesn't have to do with my apartment. But me and my roomie thought it was the funniest thing ever (especially since it goes with what is said during the housing meeting): This happened within the first couple of days on my second CP. Out of nowhere, the fire alarm went off in an apartment on the second floor. Everyone had to evacuate the building. We later find out that someone in that apartment had been cooking, and started a fire...an oil fire (I think everyone will know where I am going here). Yep, he did. He put water on the fire. I just think it was funny because you are told in the meeting to not put water on an oil fire. Literally a couple of days later it happens.
