Room views from Swan?

Can anyone please reccomend a room at the Swan if you have the Lake View? Has anyone ever stayed in a lake view room and how was the view? Thank You. Also can you request to stay in a particular room and will you get it? I read that they are not a part of Disney do they still treat you as good? Thanks

Here is a photo taken from our balcony at The Swan, room 524 which was a lake view room. What you see is part of Cresent Lake, and the white sandy beach area of the Grotto Pool. I think there is an e-mail address in the Swandolphin website where you can send your preferences/requests. I'm sure that they'll make every effort to make you happy!

Even though the resort is not "Disney owned" they property is owned by Disney and leased out to the Starwood group, who operate the Sheraton and Westin hotels (Swan and Dolphin.) We've been treated wonderfully at both the Swan and Dolphin!

The Swan and Dolphin share the same Disney transportation as the Disney resorts.
